I’m on my way back from producing some Videos in Bramley and Wonersh in The Surrey Hills (subject of the last Video) and decide to stop by St Martin’s Church in Blackheath. Built in 1893, the Church is well known for its striking Wall Paintings which were painted between 1894 and 1895 by the American Artist Anna Lea Merritt in the style used by Pre-Raphaelite Painters of the day.
