City Church Our identity matters much more than we think.
Throughout the Bible, God always reminds his children who they are before he asks them to do anything. This is true of the Genesis creation story, as well as our teaching text in 1 Peter 2 from Sunday.
On Sunday, we were reminded that we are God’s prized possession, redeemed with the life of Jesus. Because of that, we get the distinct privilege of representing God in our city.
We are halfway through our twenty-one days of prayer and fasting. Keep going, citYzens!
