billythekidofficial After working at the music school for a few years, I decided to venture out on my own. One way I knew I could get a head start was by offering a service that no one else offered. I started teaching mobile music lessons, and one of my clients lived wayyyy out in Athens, Alabama. There was always some kind of exciting wildlife on the gravel road towards their house, turkeys, chickens, goats, and definitely some dags. One day, a rooster blocked me from driving to my lesson and literally would NOT budge. He was squared off with my 2012 Prius ready to FIGHT. I was cracking up while I was trapped there and I wrote pretty much this whole song on that gravel road.
