Hey viewers. As you might already know, roses don't perform well in the summer heat. It's been very hot here with the highs in the high 90s F. Most of the time my roses would be almost defoliated by now due to disease and insects. This year I've been experiencing with weekly organic spray for fungicide and insecticide, and it has shown promising result. I haven't used any chemicals for the past 2 months. Must spray thoroughly underneath the leaves.
Organic insecticide and fungicide for 1 gallon
1lb garlic, 1lb hot pepper, 1lb ginger
1/5 gallon of alcohol 70%
all blend together and strain before use.
3 Tablespoons per gallon water
1 Tablespoon of plant-base dish soap (I use Method non-toxic dish soap)
Side Note: As you can see, many of the rose varieties have their blooms shrunk pretty bad while some didn't get affect much by it, such as Eustacia Vye, Bolero, Heritage, etc...
