Former US President Donald Trump made a campaign stop in New York on Thursday morning, before was expected to return to court as witness testimony in his hush money trial enters a third day.
The trial resumes at the same time that the U.S. Supreme Court hears arguments in Washington over whether he should be immune from prosecution for actions he took during his time as president.
Speaking during the campaign stop, Trump said: "We have a big case today, the Supreme Court on presidential immunity. A president has to have immunity. If you don't have immunity, you just have a ceremonial president."
