Bread Skewers
Ingredients for Chicken Filling:
Potatoes (boiled & mashed) 1 1/2 cup
Chicken (boiled & shredded) 2 cups
Green onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
Cheddar cheese 1 cup
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for Sauce:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Sriracha sauce 1 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Ingredients for Bread Skewers:
Bread slices as required
Chicken filling as required
Wooden skewers as required
Beaten eggs as required
Bread crumbs as required
Oil (for frying) as required
Directions for Chicken Filling Preparation:
1. In a bowl add potatoes, chicken, green onion, cheddar cheese, onion, black pepper crushed, chili sauce, garlic powder, red chili flakes, soy sauce, salt and mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Sauce Preparation:
2. In a bowl add mayo, sriracha sauce, garlic powder, salt and mix it well.
Directions for Bread Skewers Preparation:
3. Take a bread slice, remove the edges and spread prepared chicken mixture on it. Place another edgeless bread slices on it. Cut this sandwich into small squares.
4. Tread these squares onto wooden skewers and dip them in beaten eggs. Coat in bread crumbs. Now deep fry them until fully done.
5. Your Bread Skewers are ready. Serve them with prepared sauce and enjoy.
Prep time: 25-30 mins
Cooking time: 20-25 mins
Servings: 3-4
