MeidasTouch A federal judge in Georgia, applying recent US Supreme Court precedent, has thrown out all of Georgia’s electoral and congressional maps, sending them back to the drawing board to make sure black and brown voters aren’t disenfranchised. Michael Popok of Legal AF reports on Judge Jones’ decision to require at least two more minority-dominated districts to be created in Georgia in order for them not to violate the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
