During the March 2020 lookdown the inspiration for a composition for violin solo comes from some paintings by Virginia Mele, mother of my friend Mauro Tortorelli.
"Darshan" is a Sanskrit word that literally means sight, vision, seeing. But its meaning goes far beyond just "seeing", since it refers to the awareness of the inner Light or to the vision of the Divine.
The composition is made up of 4 movements:
