Ephesians Bible Study Series - Eph 2:10 - Prepared unto good works
In this chapter, Paul approaches his subject from two different angles. First, he describes what people are like before they become believers, what God does for them and how they will live as a result. I have called that 'From Sin to Salvation,' 1-10.
Then, in verses 11- 22, Paul explains that the church (the body of Christ) is made up of all types of people. There is not one predominant nationality or religious type of person, but all who repent and believe are united in Christ.
In the first 10 verses, we have:
1-3 Who you were - the past
4-6 What God has done - the present
7 What God is going to do - the future
8,9 The principle of grace explained
10 What God has prepared for Christians to do
