Welcome to our 4K longplay of 'Crime City', a retro arcade game developed by Taito. This playthrough showcases the full game, as we step into the shoes of Tony Gibson and Raymond Broady, two no-nonsense cops on a mission to 'Crush out the crime!'
In 'Crime City', we're tasked with foiling major crimes across six stages, from prison breaks to weapons smuggling. The gameplay is reminiscent of side-scrolling action games like Namco's 'Rolling Thunder' and Sega's 'Shinobi', but with its own unique twists. We have a punch button and a kick button, and by pressing both together, we can perform stronger attacks. We can also pick up more powerful weapons dropped by enemies, adding an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay.
Throughout this longplay, we'll be navigating through a variety of enemies and bosses, dealing with the game's challenging hit detection and enemy AI. Despite its challenging gameplay, 'Crime City' has a certain endearing loopiness, with unexpected moments and a quirky sense of humor.
