SAM'S SENSE: Changing foreign debt policy?

Kenya CitizenTV Various estimates show that the public debt may have crossed the Ksh.10 trillion mark, which is the legal debt ceiling for the moment.
The government plans to change that to a debt anchor of 55 percent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP). If the GDP at the moment were to be taken to be Ksh.13.48 trillion as cited by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics as of December 2022, then 55 percent would be Ksh.7.4 trillion of public debt.
