Many bands themselves have left their mark with a huge discography or a recording that marked a milestone, however many bands passed from the spotlight, in this case, from the Hard Rock of the seventies. Icecross only recorded one album that I consider a gem, a treasure full of novelties with 'Heavy' music for it's time.
I would dare to say that they are precursors, but we are already aware that bands like Iron Claw, Blue Cheer, Flower Travellin, Black Widow, Jacula, Black Sabbath, Coven or some heavy/psyche/progs bands have taken those spotlights of attention.
Musically, this album has an intrinsic Hard rocking darkness with quite enigmatic lyrics that served more than one band of the time to have that dark influence. His homonym ('73), for me, is a forgotten classic and excessively. Here I relive his damn legacy with this song (one of my favorites) from the powerful album what is it.
