"All I Want for Christmas is
My Autistic Son's Eyebrows?"
With just 3 days away from Christmas and the past couple of days that have been so exhausting and upsetting it seemed the perfect time to go to a place where I could destress, rejuvenate, and remind myself that tomorrow's another day. After all, I've conquered so much over the years, the last five years especially.
I made it through last month, last week, and yesterday. I've cried because I felt hopeless and sad, but I've also cried in moments of pride and happiness. A New Year is approaching soon and while we walked among mother nature I began reflecting on what I've been through and how it really has actually made me stronger.
It's amazing how a walk among nature can lift your worries and clear so much negativity.
But to see my Dustin walk with me today, so innocent, so relaxed, picking flowers and then giving them to me unexpectedly.... Every feeling I felt disappeared leaving only one. The Love I felt from you in that moment Today Boo Bear.
I have faith that the days to come will be better. But even if some aren't, I have the memory of that moment TODAY with the sweet smell of those beautiful yellow flowers you chose to hand to me because you loved me ❤️
