Your first port of call: The PAPACKSÂ® School of Sustainability, where Tahsin Dag presented how molded pulp serves as a sustainable alternative to plastic. Beginning with the extraction of raw materials through to the processing of a finished packaging product, the lasting advantages of cast pulp were explained, which positively surprised the African representatives. At the same time, they identified enormous potential for molded pulp packaging in their regions, as domestic production of molded pulp could be favored by local raw material sources such as palm trees and coconut shells. The meeting was a success on all sides.
