During the Colonel's Review, more than 1,200 men and 300 horses from the Household Division comprising Welsh, Irish, Scottish, Grenadier, and Coldstream Guards marched for Prince William's inspection.
A tragic occurrence occurred when several of the troops collapsed while drilling when temperatures in the UK surpassed 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) for the first time this year.
It was held in advance of the Trooping the Colour procession next Saturday.
As the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has already issued a heat-health notice for hot weather until Tuesday in the West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, South East, and South West, the impact of the heat is "likely to be felt across the entire health service and the wider population."

The biggest concern was over the low audio levels during the opening sequence, which features Hailee Steinfeld's Spider-Woman character, Gwen Stacy.
While the issue was isolated to a few theatres, a source close to the film told Variety that all prints of the picture had been corrected, which is not uncommon for distributors to do if the change presents itself.
During the opening weekend, writer-producer Phil Lord addressed the issue on Twitter, providing a remedy and advising spectators to ensure the theatre volume for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to the reference level of 7.
Miles Morales, a teenager from Brooklyn who develops abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider, stars in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel.
Morales' cross-dimensional contacts with many web-slinging heroes in the sequel. The picture, directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, grossed $120.5 million in its first weekend.

When questioned if Martin and Short were 'intimidated' by her presence, Gomez said that she was "nowhere near as cool" as them.
"I'm doing the best I can with what I'm doing." But they are icons, and I don't think they were scared. "All they ever said to me was, 'We thought you were going to be annoying and high-maintenance.'"
She said, "So I guess that means I'm not those things if they like working with me."
