1:: Drachenfest 23: The Final Battle

··· ··· ··· ··· At Drachenfest the whole week leads up to the final battle which is a massive fight between every camps armies. So there are thousands of people all out at once wailing on each other. It can be a bit tough to film, especially this year but I figured I dump in a bunch of clips that I got and hope for the best. That's all for #drachenfest this year!

This is why it never hurts to go for a wander!

4:: Drachenfest 23: The Opening Ceremony

··· ··· ··· ··· While most folks get to #drachenfest a day or two before the opening ceremony, the actual game doesn't start until this happens. It tends to consist of some kind of show or performance being put on by the previous years winning camp (here it was gold, so the theme was all about justice) and then goes on to show how each camp roughly feels about each other for the beginning of the event. I got a pretty decent spot this year so I think there's some nice looking bits in there!

··· ··· ··· ··· So I figured I put the commute to #Drachenfest in a bunch of other videos so I decided to just get right to the activities this time around. There wasn't a ton of nightlife on that first night as everyone was exhausted from fixing and rebuilding after a huge storm hit right before we got in so there was a little time jump forwards in there. Also, I tried using AI to fix some of the audio so it goes a bit weird at times, I know!

(Imagine your local haunted house cranked up to and multiplied by 10 but is also based on your favorite movies!) So @misschloe8911 and myself managed to make it out to #hhn again this year, so I figured Id show you what we got up to! Every year they hold a tournament to decide their groups champion, which tends to focus on showmanship and playing to lift. (So think of it on how entertaining the fight is vs who gets more points!)
