The summer of 2015 saw Trump generate so much early momentum behind his candidacy that he became almost unstoppable in his march towards the Republican presidential nomination. By Labor Day in early September, he had established a lead in the polls that rarely he relinquished.

Already, the polls point towards the first Democratic hat-trick of three consecutive victories in presidential elections since the 1940s. As Politico reported last week:
"No candidate in Donald Trump's position at this stage of the campaign has gone on to win the popular vote in November in the modern polling era."
Remember the days when Trump's stump speech was essentially a recitation of positive polls numbers? - is that he is running as if the nomination was still his goal rather than the presidency. Back then, no conspiracy theories about the polling numbers being manipulated - why would there be ? He was ahead.
Now, that he is behind in polling for the Presidency, the numbers are deemed to be unreliable and the media is conspiring against him - that's the line Trump camp is taking. This is the sort of response Michael Cohen, one of Donald Trump's top advisers, gave when he went on CNN to talk about how his boss is great, the press and polls have got it all wrong and is totally going to win.
The hilarity of the interview (on Cohen's part) is there for all to see. Cohen from the very start portrays himself (and the Trump) as victims of a conspiracy. Quality questions are presented to him by Brianna Keilar but Cohen objects to the wording and legitimacy of posing such questions - how dare she. It's the sort of questions that would be asked to any politician. For example, Ms Keilar asks Cohen about these now never ending negative polls that say the exact opposite of what he is expressing - but Cohen acts as if he has his fingers in his ears and singing "la-lal-la-la-la-la" - he was not having any of it - the polls are concocted in some sort of collective media conspiracy. Even to the objective viewer, they can see what sort of garbage a "Trumpeteer" comes out in response to quality questioning. Trump and his acolytes need to remove those chips from their shoulders - otherwise they are destined to live in the bubble of delusion only to be popped when H.Clinton is sworn in as President./media:description>

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just bought her second home this year in the same exact neighborhood as her mother, Kris Jenner, and her current main home.
Kylie's realtor Tomer Fridman stated that the property was purchased for around $4.5 million and it is actually next door to the Hidden Hills home (which is situated where her mother Kris Jenner and half-sister Kim Kardashian West live) she bought in May for $6 million. This latest property is close to the first house she bought which resides in a gated Calabasas community.
The mansion sits on 3.9 acres, is roughly 5,000 square feet and offers four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The model is planning to use her new home as a work space for her Kylie Cosmetics company.

Eminem joined Drake onstage Tuesday night at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena, putting an end to weeks of hyped-up rumors of bad blood.
It was a quick but explosive moment that sent an already adrenalized crowd into overdrive inside the packed arena, as the "hometown hero" — Drake's words — rose from below the stage to join on "Forever" toward the end of the 2½-hour show. Eminem's rapid-fire rhyming was drowned out by the continuous broadside of screams, as the hoodie-topped rapper paced the stage in his familiar crouched posture.
The 43-year-old rapper - whose real name is Marshall Mathers - has put rumors to bed there is a feud between him and the One Dance star as he joined him for a special hometown appearance on Tuesday.
Drake - who bowed down to the Sing For The Moment pioneer - introduced him as he said:
"Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper that ever got on a motherfucking microphone - he goes by the name of Eminem.
Legendary shit tonight."
Slim Shady then entered through a trap door for his third appearance in concert in eight months, which saw Drake - whose real name is Aubrey Graham - bow to him several times.
Eminem admitted it was an "honor" to be standing next to the star and performing with him as they performed Forever, which they collaborated on in the studio with Kanye West and Lil' Wayne.
He said:
"It's an honor to share the stage with this man right here."
Eminem has since shared a photograph of him alongside Drake on his Instagram, captioning the post: "Views from The Joe. #WelcometoDetroit (sic)."
Drake has also posted the same picture to his social media site with the caption on his upload reading: "SHARED THE STAGE WITH THE GOAT FOR DETROIT. DONE THE HYPE. (sic)."
It follows speculation of a feud between the pair, but they look to have shut the rumors down in style. Eminem's appearance at Drake's Detroit gig comes days after rumors about a supposed beef between Drake and Eminem surfaced after DJ Ebro told New York City radio station Hot 97 that the “Not Afraid” rapper may be coming for Drake because of the “Hotline Bling” singer’s recent spat with rapper Joe Budden that began a few months ago when Drizzy clapped after Budden, during a podcast appearance, criticized his album “Views.”
Later, Ebro took to Twitter to explain his prank, calling it a "joke" that "people ran with." He also said he was only talking in "jest" when he spoke about the supposed beef.
After the rumors about the feud heated up, Drake dissed Hot 97 during his show at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 4.

media:description>Today another questionable police behavior that deserves accountability: Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department has launched an investigation over a video posted to Twitter on Monday afternoon. The Aug. 15 video shows a male police officer holding a young woman—possibly a youth—by her arms and pressing her against a police car. In the video, which you can watch above, the young woman is held up off the ground so that her feet are dangling beneath her. The caption on the twitter video says,
“So this just happened. I’m TIRED. he literally hopped out and did this immediately to her. No CONVO. Dawg. WTF.”
The location of the incident is not immediately mentioned in the video or on the Twitter timeline, and neither are the names of the officers. There is no identifying information on the young woman who was held dangling in the air.
The video, posted by Twitter user MacAndCheeks, is approximately 45 seconds long and three to four other short videos of the scene are also posted. One video is captioned,
“Now they giving her her textbooks back. Ask ME if I have a plastic bag for her.”
In the video, the female’s shoulders are held against a police cruiser by an officer while her sneakers dangle above the ground. She carries a bag and a green notebook as the officer holding her says, “Yes you did. I saw it.”
It later was discovered that the incident happened at 7 and T streets NW, near Howard University and across from the Howard Theater, said the Twitter user who published out the tweet.
At one point, the officer puts her down and the two, along with the second officer, begin talking to each other.
The publication of the video comes at a fraught time between the police and critics of excessive, often lethal, police force, who argue that African Americans are too often the targets of mistreatment at the hands of officers.
According to the Twitter user’s timeline, the video was sent to the D.C. police department for a response. The department acknowledged the video and said it was looking into the matter via the two unidentified officer’s commanders./media:description>

But then the 40-year-old country star arrived with his guitar to make it a duet for real.
Gwen turned from the audience to sing the song directly to him, as Blake mouthed back her lines, smiling the whole time.
Afterwards, Gwen proclaimed in Instagram that Dallas was :
"one of my favorite shows of the tour THANKU!!! So blessed"
The song is taken from Blake's latest album If I'm Honest, on which his 46-year-old girlfriend of ten months is a guest vocalist.
Despite the pessimistic title of the track, The Voice judge explained during the summer that the lyrics simply reflect their acceptance that a relationship will likely have its share of ups and downs.
He told Today :
"We were just writing it about ... it was hard to kind of let our guards down again, you know what I mean?
Just going through some issues, and so that's what the song was even written about.
It's like, I know something bad is going to happen, because it always does, so let's just get it over with now."

Paul (22) and Gary O'Donovan (23), from Lisheen in West Cork, have taken Twitter by storm after claiming Ireland's first ever rowing medals.
Ireland’s only medallists of the 2016 Rio Olympics have rowed their way to silver in the men’s lightweight double sculls.
However, it is not their talent that has captured the imagination of fans worldwide, but their desire to say whatever they want in every interview they give along with drifting away on tangents while live on television, all the while giving the impression they are having the time of their lives.
The brothers started to gain attention when they featured on the BBC after they won their heat (see second half of video), but it was a good-humored conversation with Irish channel RTE that has really caused a stir (first half of above video) ) and led to such reactions as “just magnificent” and “heroes”.
Footage of the brothers openly chatting to Ireland’s national broadcaster RTE about their urine tests, “podium pants” and how they plan to celebrate their achievement has quickly gone viral.
Their television appearance begins with them asking the station’s anchors, via a live satellite feed from Brazil, “How are tings?” and “What’s the craic?”
Gary jokes :
“We’re in Rio, the background might look superimposed but it’s very real”
Then his brother Paul interjects and goes into 'TMI' mode giving away a little bit too much detail about his doping test. They then go on to detailing all of the other tasks that they had to complete after the race that had left them “a bit tired”, adding “the legs are like jelly”.
When they arrived in the rowing mixed zone where Sir Steve Redgrave and John Inverdale were waiting for a BBC interview, Gary quickly quipped “we’ll have to be careful what we say to these lads”, with all four laughing throughout the conversation (see second half of the above video).
The brothers’ performances, on and off the water, has set social media alight, with some Twitter users hailing them as “Ireland’s gift to the world”, and praising the brothers for their humor in their interviews.
Their silver in the lightweight double sculls is Ireland’s first ever Olympic medal for rowing, and the country’s first medal of the Rio Games./media:description>

media:description>On Friday, the gossip and entertainment website TMZ released a short video that appears to show actor Johnny Depp engaged in a loud and at times out-of-control argument with his wife, Amber Heard.
A new video emerged the day before Amber Heard was due to be deposed in her ongoing legal battle with estranged husband, Johnny Depp, of an alleged altercation between the two.
His estranged wife Amber Heard, reportedly filmed months before the 30-year-old actress was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp and filed for divorce.
In the video Depp appears to be in a fit of rage over an unknown incident that occurred earlier in the day. He storms through the kitchen slamming cabinets, breaking objects and yelling expletives, all while interrogating Heard.
She tells him :
“Nothing happened this morning, you know that ? I just woke up and you were so sweet and nice – we were not even fighting this morning. All I said was sorry."
While Heard didn't elaborate on what she was apologizing for, the comments don't seem to settle Depp.
Sources close to the Pirates of the Caribbean star told TMZ that the footage was “heavily edited,” and the website reports that there are parts where the 30-year-old actress can be seen smiling and encouraging him.
He then approaches Heard to pour himself a large glass of wine. Depp angrily retorts :
“You want to see crazy? I’ll give you crazy. Here’s me – all your crazy.”
All the while is he unaware that Amber is recording the incident, until Depp apparently spots Heard's camera and appears to wrestle it out of her hand. He then says :
"Oh you got this going? Oh really…"
as then video cuts off.
From a legal perspective, It remains to be seen whether such a video will be admissible in a California court, which requires two-party consent for the use of recorded confidential communications.
On social media, opinions was divided with regards to whether the video was incriminating for Depp or not :
"There's no evidence of abuse. He has no history of abuse.
He has a history of drinking. Being drunk and pissed doesn't mean physical abuse occurred.
To claim that he's guilty based on him being intoxicated is just fraudulent." - Andrew

If you paid attention in your biology classes at school, you would know an unborn baby grows inside the protective membrane of his or her mother’s amniotic sac.
The sac typically bursts on its own, causing the mother’s water to break Everyone has heard of the moment in a woman’s pregnancy when her “water breaks”. Releasing of the amniotic fluid signals the beginning of the birth of the new born.
That's how 99.987% of the babies are born - without this being 'housed' in the amniotic sac. However, there is the 1 in 80,000 chance that baby comes into the world with the baby still in the sac that fully in tact.
This awe inspiring event is termed an "en-caul" birth when the infant is born inside the entire amniotic sac. The sac balloons out at birth, with the amniotic fluid and child remaining inside the unbroken or sometimes partially broken membrane. Most "en-caul" births are premature.
The removal of the membrane is somewhat complex - although in the video it looks pretty simple - it's not, it needs surgical hands. If done correctly, the attending practitioner will place a small incision in the membrane across the nostrils so that the child can breathe. The loops are then carefully un-looped from behind the ears. Then, the remainder of the caul can be either peeled back very carefully from the skin, or gently rubbed with a sheet of paper, which is then peeled away. If removed too quickly, the caul can leave wounds on the infant's flesh at the attachment points, which may leave permanent scars.
Some Early Modern European traditions linked caul birth to the ability to defend fertility and the harvest against the forces of evil, particularly witches and sorcerers.
Folklore developed suggesting that possession of a baby's caul would give its bearer good luck and protect that person from death by drowning. Cauls were therefore highly prized by sailors.
Medieval women often sold these cauls to sailors for large sums of money; a caul was regarded as a valuable talisman.
In the Polish language, the idiom w czepku urodzony/a ('born in a bonnet') means a person who is always very lucky. The Russian phrase родился в рубашке ('born in a shirt') refers to caul birth and figuratively means "born lucky". It is often applied to someone who is oblivious to a pending disaster that is avoided only through luck as if the birth caul persists as supernatural armor, and in this sense commonly appears in titles or descriptions of Russian dashcam videos. Wearing her hair with curls for the first time in a while, Swift took us back to her “Tim McGraw” days.
Sharing a selfie of them both, she wrote:
"I LOVE YOU KARLIE. You're such an exquisite person, always trying to make things better for others. Every day I'm inspired by how giving, loving, and thoughtful you are. Happy 24th Birthday!!! @karliekloss."
And though they couldn't spent the day together, the Bad Blood' hitmaker ensured she was able to chat to her friend via FaceTime.
The singer caused a bit of a stir online when she kissed birthday boy Hess on the cheek during the performance (see video). Tom Hiddleston need not worry, as it looked like friendly peck on the cheek./media:description>

The problems have been going on for so long and it feels like it is coming to a head. In these moments, you become thankful that the sound of gunshots or bombs are not a normal part of your life.
I see what sport has done for me as an American, growing up in middle-class America. When I consider other individuals who are not as fortunate as I am, whether that is access to clean drinking water, or access to education, I think that sport has the ability to change lives.
If I can be a source of inspiration to not just Muslim youth, but to other kids who have been told they don't belong because they were different... if I can encourage women to be active, then that is a positive thing."
Such has been her impact that Time magazine included her in their 2016 list for 100 most influential people, while credit card company Visa have put her at the forefront of their advertising.
From being ranked 113 in the world during the 2007-08 season, the 30-year-old has climbed to a career-high position of eighth this season, winning the Pan American title in June after two-time Olympic gold medallist Mariel Zagunis withdrew because of injury.
Two years earlier, she had won gold for USA in their team sabre event at the World Fencing Championships in Russia.
She says :
"Competing at the Olympics was never a thought of mine. I never considered it or thought about it.
But this is a defining moment in my life, I am excited to represent not just myself, my family and my country - but also the greater Muslim community. "
She has faced prejudice.
At a fencing event in Texas, she was asked to remove her hijab, while in April a man in the street asked if she was going to blow something up as she looked suspicious.
However, such is her popularity, she was invited to a function at the White House for the festival of Eid, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. President Barack Obama jested there was "no pressure" on her shoulders in competing at the Olympics with a hijab.
Muhammad also gave Obama's wife Michelle a fencing lesson in New York, when marking 100 days to the start of the Olympics.
"The hijab is very much a part of who I am and definitely helps me in my relationship with God and with my own spirituality. It is a personal choice and a personal relationship you have with God.
Wearing the hijab is a reminder to myself, in a society that is not predominantly Muslim, of being aware of your own religion. Being in sport, it is part of my journey and as an individual, the hijab has always felt right for me.
It is not forced upon women, especially in the US, and is a conscious decision that I am making."
She had strong words for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about his immigration plans for Muslims. She told CNN last week :
“I think his words are very dangerous.
When these types of comments are made, no one thinks about how they really affect people.
I’m African-American. I don’t have another home to go to. My family was born here. I was born here.
I’ve grown up in Jersey. All my family’s from Jersey. It’s like, well, where do we go?”
She then later commented :
“I’m hopeful that, in my efforts to represent our country well as an athlete ― that they change the rhetoric around how people think and perceive the Muslim community,”
The eighth-ranked saber fencer made the most of her moment on Monday, defeating 33rd-ranked Olena Kravatska of Ukraine, 15-13, in the round of 32.
In the round of 16, Muhammad took an early lead against ninth-ranked Cecilia Berder of France but surrendered a string of touches mid-bout and ended up losing, 15-12. She will take part in the team competition later in the Games.

The summer of 2015 saw Trump generate so much early momentum behind his candidacy that he became almost unstoppable in his march towards the Republican presidential nomination. By Labor Day in early September, he had established a lead in the polls that rarely he relinquished.
The summer of 2016, by contrast, may well have made him unelectable as he pursues the presidency itself. By Labor Day, he could be so far behind that Hillary Clinton, hardly a popular candidate herself, would have to trip badly for him to stage a comeback.
Already, the polls point towards the first Democratic hat-trick of three consecutive victories in presidential elections since the 1940s. As Politico reported last week:
"No candidate in Donald Trump's position at this stage of the campaign has gone on to win the popular vote in November in the modern polling era."
Remember the days when Trump's stump speech was essentially a recitation of positive polls numbers? - is that he is running as if the nomination was still his goal rather than the presidency. Back then, no conspiracy theories about the polling numbers being manipulated - why would there be ? He was ahead.
Now, that he is behind in polling for the Presidency, the numbers are deemed to be unreliable and the media is conspiring against him - that's the line Trump camp is taking. This is the sort of response Michael Cohen, one of Donald Trump's top advisers, gave when he went on CNN to talk about how his boss is great, the press and polls have got it all wrong and is totally going to win.
The hilarity of the interview (on Cohen's part) is there for all to see. Cohen from the very start portrays himself (and the Trump) as victims of a conspiracy. Quality questions are presented to him by Brianna Keilar but Cohen objects to the wording and legitimacy of posing such questions - how dare she. It's the sort of questions that would be asked to any politician. For example, Ms Keilar asks Cohen about these now never ending negative polls that say the exact opposite of what he is expressing - but Cohen acts as if he has his fingers in his ears and singing "la-lal-la-la-la-la" - he was not having any of it - the polls are concocted in some sort of collective media conspiracy. Even to the objective viewer, they can see what sort of garbage a "Trumpeteer" comes out in response to quality questioning. Trump and his acolytes need to remove those chips from their shoulders - otherwise they are destined to live in the bubble of delusion only to be popped when H.Clinton is sworn in as President.

She has forked out $4.5 million on her third house, just three months after spending $6 million on a plush pad.
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star forked out the huge sum on a four-bedroom property in Hidden Hills, California, on Tuesday, which is near to a $6 million plush pad she purchased in May.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just bought her second home this year in the same exact neighborhood as her mother, Kris Jenner, and her current main home.
Kylie's realtor Tomer Fridman stated that the property was purchased for around $4.5 million and it is actually next door to the Hidden Hills home (which is situated where her mother Kris Jenner and half-sister Kim Kardashian West live) she bought in May for $6 million. This latest property is close to the first house she bought which resides in a gated Calabasas community.
The mansion sits on 3.9 acres, is roughly 5,000 square feet and offers four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The model is planning to use her new home as a work space for her Kylie Cosmetics company.

Eminem joined Drake onstage Tuesday night at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena, putting an end to weeks of hyped-up rumors of bad blood.
It was a quick but explosive moment that sent an already adrenalized crowd into overdrive inside the packed arena, as the "hometown hero" — Drake's words — rose from below the stage to join on "Forever" toward the end of the 2½-hour show. Eminem's rapid-fire rhyming was drowned out by the continuous broadside of screams, as the hoodie-topped rapper paced the stage in his familiar crouched posture.
The 43-year-old rapper - whose real name is Marshall Mathers - has put rumors to bed there is a feud between him and the One Dance star as he joined him for a special hometown appearance on Tuesday.
Drake - who bowed down to the Sing For The Moment pioneer - introduced him as he said:
"Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper that ever got on a motherfucking microphone - he goes by the name of Eminem.
Legendary shit tonight."
Slim Shady then entered through a trap door for his third appearance in concert in eight months, which saw Drake - whose real name is Aubrey Graham - bow to him several times.
Eminem admitted it was an "honor" to be standing next to the star and performing with him as they performed Forever, which they collaborated on in the studio with Kanye West and Lil' Wayne.
He said:
"It's an honor to share the stage with this man right here."
Eminem has since shared a photograph of him alongside Drake on his Instagram, captioning the post: "Views from The Joe. #WelcometoDetroit (sic)."
Drake has also posted the same picture to his social media site with the caption on his upload reading: "SHARED THE STAGE WITH THE GOAT FOR DETROIT. DONE THE HYPE. (sic)."
It follows speculation of a feud between the pair, but they look to have shut the rumors down in style. Eminem's appearance at Drake's Detroit gig comes days after rumors about a supposed beef between Drake and Eminem surfaced after DJ Ebro told New York City radio station Hot 97 that the “Not Afraid” rapper may be coming for Drake because of the “Hotline Bling” singer’s recent spat with rapper Joe Budden that began a few months ago when Drizzy clapped after Budden, during a podcast appearance, criticized his album “Views.”
Later, Ebro took to Twitter to explain his prank, calling it a "joke" that "people ran with." He also said he was only talking in "jest" when he spoke about the supposed beef.

In the video, which you can watch above, the young woman is held up off the ground so that her feet are dangling beneath her. The caption on the twitter video says,
“So this just happened. I’m TIRED. he literally hopped out and did this immediately to her. No CONVO. Dawg. WTF.”
The location of the incident is not immediately mentioned in the video or on the Twitter timeline, and neither are the names of the officers. There is no identifying information on the young woman who was held dangling in the air.
The video, posted by Twitter user MacAndCheeks, is approximately 45 seconds long and three to four other short videos of the scene are also posted. One video is captioned,
“Now they giving her her textbooks back. Ask ME if I have a plastic bag for her.”
In the video, the female’s shoulders are held against a police cruiser by an officer while her sneakers dangle above the ground. She carries a bag and a green notebook as the officer holding her says, “Yes you did. I saw it.”
It later was discovered that the incident happened at 7 and T streets NW, near Howard University and across from the Howard Theater, said the Twitter user who published out the tweet.
At one point, the officer puts her down and the two, along with the second officer, begin talking to each other.
The publication of the video comes at a fraught time between the police and critics of excessive, often lethal, police force, who argue that African Americans are too often the targets of mistreatment at the hands of officers.
According to the Twitter user’s timeline, the video was sent to the D.C. police department for a response. The department acknowledged the video and said it was looking into the matter via the two unidentified officer’s commanders.

The two then broke into “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” which is on his If I’m Honest album. Very sweetly, the two looked only at each other as they performed the song, and at times you could see Shelton mouthing to words to Stefani’s parts of the duet. After they were done singing, Shelton and Stefani hugged and shared a brief kiss.
The pop singer had started the couple's duet Go Ahead And Break My Heart for the crowd at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas.
But then the 40-year-old country star arrived with his guitar to make it a duet for real.
Gwen turned from the audience to sing the song directly to him, as Blake mouthed back her lines, smiling the whole time.
Afterwards, Gwen proclaimed in Instagram that Dallas was :
"one of my favorite shows of the tour THANKU!!! So blessed"
The song is taken from Blake's latest album If I'm Honest, on which his 46-year-old girlfriend of ten months is a guest vocalist.
Despite the pessimistic title of the track, The Voice judge explained during the summer that the lyrics simply reflect their acceptance that a relationship will likely have its share of ups and downs.
He told Today :
"We were just writing it about ... it was hard to kind of let our guards down again, you know what I mean?
Just going through some issues, and so that's what the song was even written about.
It's like, I know something bad is going to happen, because it always does, so let's just get it over with now."
The country star's view on Murphy's Law certainly seemed to be proved this week when Twitter users accused him of posting and then deleting racist, homophobic and otherwise offensive tweets five years ago.

Paul (22) and Gary O'Donovan (23), from Lisheen in West Cork, have taken Twitter by storm after claiming Ireland's first ever rowing medals.
Ireland’s only medallists of the 2016 Rio Olympics have rowed their way to silver in the men’s lightweight double sculls.
However, it is not their talent that has captured the imagination of fans worldwide, but their desire to say whatever they want in every interview they give along with drifting away on tangents while live on television, all the while giving the impression they are having the time of their lives.
The brothers started to gain attention when they featured on the BBC after they won their heat (see second half of video), but it was a good-humored conversation with Irish channel RTE that has really caused a stir (first half of above video) ) and led to such reactions as “just magnificent” and “heroes”.
Footage of the brothers openly chatting to Ireland’s national broadcaster RTE about their urine tests, “podium pants” and how they plan to celebrate their achievement has quickly gone viral.
Their television appearance begins with them asking the station’s anchors, via a live satellite feed from Brazil, “How are tings?” and “What’s the craic?”
Gary jokes :
“We’re in Rio, the background might look superimposed but it’s very real”
Then his brother Paul interjects and goes into 'TMI' mode giving away a little bit too much detail about his doping test. They then go on to detailing all of the other tasks that they had to complete after the race that had left them “a bit tired”, adding “the legs are like jelly”.
When they arrived in the rowing mixed zone where Sir Steve Redgrave and John Inverdale were waiting for a BBC interview, Gary quickly quipped “we’ll have to be careful what we say to these lads”, with all four laughing throughout the conversation (see second half of the above video).
The brothers’ performances, on and off the water, has set social media alight, with some Twitter users hailing them as “Ireland’s gift to the world”, and praising the brothers for their humor in their interviews.
Their silver in the lightweight double sculls is Ireland’s first ever Olympic medal for rowing, and the country’s first medal of the Rio Games.

A new video emerged the day before Amber Heard was due to be deposed in her ongoing legal battle with estranged husband, Johnny Depp, of an alleged altercation between the two.
His estranged wife Amber Heard, reportedly filmed months before the 30-year-old actress was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp and filed for divorce.
In the video Depp appears to be in a fit of rage over an unknown incident that occurred earlier in the day. He storms through the kitchen slamming cabinets, breaking objects and yelling expletives, all while interrogating Heard.
She tells him :
“Nothing happened this morning, you know that ? I just woke up and you were so sweet and nice – we were not even fighting this morning. All I said was sorry."
While Heard didn't elaborate on what she was apologizing for, the comments don't seem to settle Depp.
Sources close to the Pirates of the Caribbean star told TMZ that the footage was “heavily edited,” and the website reports that there are parts where the 30-year-old actress can be seen smiling and encouraging him.
He then approaches Heard to pour himself a large glass of wine. Depp angrily retorts :
“You want to see crazy? I’ll give you crazy. Here’s me – all your crazy.”
All the while is he unaware that Amber is recording the incident, until Depp apparently spots Heard's camera and appears to wrestle it out of her hand. He then says :
"Oh you got this going? Oh really…"
as then video cuts off.
From a legal perspective, It remains to be seen whether such a video will be admissible in a California court, which requires two-party consent for the use of recorded confidential communications.
On social media, opinions was divided with regards to whether the video was incriminating for Depp or not :

The video shows the baby lying on a hospital table inside the fully-intact clear sac which covers the whole body. This life affirming event occurred in Spain. The video shows the second half of a C-section twin birth, the first twin was being stabilized off camera as the second baby surprised everyone by entering the world "en caul".
If you paid attention in your biology classes at school, you would know an unborn baby grows inside the protective membrane of his or her mother’s amniotic sac.
The sac typically bursts on its own, causing the mother’s water to break Everyone has heard of the moment in a woman’s pregnancy when her “water breaks”. Releasing of the amniotic fluid signals the beginning of the birth of the new born.
That's how 99.987% of the babies are born - without this being 'housed' in the amniotic sac. However, there is the 1 in 80,000 chance that baby comes into the world with the baby still in the sac that fully in tact.
This awe inspiring event is termed an "en-caul" birth when the infant is born inside the entire amniotic sac. The sac balloons out at birth, with the amniotic fluid and child remaining inside the unbroken or sometimes partially broken membrane. Most "en-caul" births are premature.
The removal of the membrane is somewhat complex - although in the video it looks pretty simple - it's not, it needs surgical hands. If done correctly, the attending practitioner will place a small incision in the membrane across the nostrils so that the child can breathe. The loops are then carefully un-looped from behind the ears. Then, the remainder of the caul can be either peeled back very carefully from the skin, or gently rubbed with a sheet of paper, which is then peeled away. The 30-year-old New Jersey native became the first American athlete to compete at the Games in a hijab, the traditional headscarf worn by Muslim women.
Days before the competition she stated :
“I feel like this is a great moment for Team USA to be even more diverse than we have in the past and I'm just looking forward to representing myself, my community and my country.”
She told BBC Sport :
"In this particular political climate in the history of this country, it is groundbreaking to have a Muslim woman on the US team.
I am excited to challenge the stereotypes and misconceptions people have about Muslim women. I want to show people that we can not only be on any Olympic team, but on the US Olympic team which is the strongest of the world's teams.
As a global community, we have to work harder to change our current situation. It is an unhealthy one,"
What is causing the "unhealthy situation" she refers to?
"A lot of it is misunderstanding. Misunderstanding of religion, of what different societies need in order to thrive.
The problems have been going on for so long and it feels like it is coming to a head. In these moments, you become thankful that the sound of gunshots or bombs are not a normal part of your life.
I see what sport has done for me as an American, growing up in middle-class America. When I consider other individuals who are not as fortunate as I am, whether that is access to clean drinking water, or access to education, I think that sport has the ability to change lives.
If I can be a source of inspiration to not just Muslim youth, but to other kids who have been told they don't belong because they were different... if I can encourage women to be active, then that is a positive thing."
Such has been her impact that Time magazine included her in their 2016 list for 100 most influential people, while credit card company Visa have put her at the forefront of their advertising.
From being ranked 113 in the world during the 2007-08 season, the 30-year-old has climbed to a career-high position of eighth this season, winning the Pan American title in June after two-time Olympic gold medallist Mariel Zagunis withdrew because of injury.
Two years earlier, she had won gold for USA in their team sabre event at the World Fencing Championships in Russia.
She says :
"Competing at the Olympics was never a thought of mine. I never considered it or thought about it.
But this is a defining moment in my life, I am excited to represent not just myself, my family and my country - but also the greater Muslim community. "
She has faced prejudice.
At a fencing event in Texas, she was asked to remove her hijab, while in April a man in the street asked if she was going to blow something up as she looked suspicious.
However, such is her popularity, she was invited to a function at the White House for the festival of Eid, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. President Barack Obama jested there was "no pressure" on her shoulders in competing at the Olympics with a hijab.
Muhammad also gave Obama's wife Michelle a fencing lesson in New York, when marking 100 days to the start of the Olympics.
"The hijab is very much a part of who I am and definitely helps me in my relationship with God and with my own spirituality. It is a personal choice and a personal relationship you have with God.
Wearing the hijab is a reminder to myself, in a society that is not predominantly Muslim, of being aware of your own religion. Being in sport, it is part of my journey and as an individual, the hijab has always felt right for me.
It is not forced upon women, especially in the US, and is a conscious decision that I am making."
She had strong words for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about his immigration plans for Muslims. She told CNN last week :
“I think his words are very dangerous.
When these types of comments are made, no one thinks about how they really affect people.
I’m African-American. I don’t have another home to go to. My family was born here. I was born here.
I’ve grown up in Jersey. All my family’s from Jersey. It’s like, well, where do we go?”
She then later commented :
“I’m hopeful that, in my efforts to represent our country well as an athlete ― that they change the rhetoric around how people think and perceive the Muslim community,”
The eighth-ranked saber fencer made the most of her moment on Monday, defeating 33rd-ranked Olena Kravatska of Ukraine, 15-13, in the round of 32.
In the round of 16, Muhammad took an early lead against ninth-ranked Cecilia Berder of France but surrendered a string of touches mid-bout and ended up losing, 15-12. She will take part in the team competition later in the Games.

We all know kids can be pretty nasty towards their peers and call each other distasteful names (obviously learning it from the elder generation). Words like "jerk", "moron", "jackass" and so on.
But what is now the ultimate insult ? At least for one kid ? It's being called "Donald Trump" by his elder brother. So much so, that this poor little boy weeps his heart out after being name called after the wannabe President.
So if you get called "Trump" by your mates, better ask yourself if it's a complement or not ?
