The 1st of December undoubtedly marks the beginning of Christmas time, when we position ourselves in box number 1 of our Advent calendar, taking part in this countdown most loved by children.
Just like one of them, on the first of December I opened my first Advent calendar box, and I found four fantastic musician friends ready to record a 'best wishes' message with me, dedicated to our loved ones, friends and acquaintance.

Ci è piaciuta l’idea di donare una nuova veste a questo brano, spingendolo verso uno stile più R&B che poi rientra dolcemente verso una romantica ballad, cercando come sempre di incuriosire e di trasmettere un messaggio genuino a chi dall’altra parte ci ascolta.

L’atmosfera, a tratti jazz e a tratti pop, che si alterna nel corso di questa versione di «Counting Stars» è l’evidenza di un grosso lavoro di squadra fatto in trio, strumenti alla mano, con l’obiettivo di condurre chi ascolta in un viaggio fatto di nuove emozioni.
Avevo originariamente destinato la nostra rivisitazione di questo brano a un percorso di tipo discografico, ma ho poi ritenuto fosse interessante includerlo nella raccolta di video tratti da «A TRIP DEDICATED TO MUSIC».

Ho ripreso in mano il brano e questo è quello che è successo, ne è nata una differente interpretazione, più intima e raccolta.

Anch’io come uno di loro, quest’anno aprendo la mia prima casellina c’ho trovato dentro quattro fantastici amici musicisti, pronti a registrare assieme a me un messaggio di auguri dedicato a tutti i nostri cari, amici e conoscenti.
Sulle note di questa interpretazione di uno dei classici che preferisco, faccio a tutti voi un augurio di Buon Natale, da parte mia e da parte degli splendidi musicisti che hanno preso parte con tanto entusiasmo a questa iniziativa!!

The 1st of December undoubtedly marks the beginning of Christmas time, when we position ourselves in box number 1 of our Advent calendar, taking part in this countdown most loved by children.
Just like one of them, on the first of December I opened my first Advent calendar box, and I found four fantastic musician friends ready to record a 'best wishes' message with me, dedicated to our loved ones, friends and acquaintance.
So, on the note of this interpretation of one of the Christmas hits which I prefer most, I wish you Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart, as well as on the part of the splendid musicians who took part with such enthusiasm in this venture!!!

Silver Bells descrive proprio questi momenti di immersione nel perfetto clima natalizio. Quale brano dunque migliore di questo potrebbe fare da sottofondo a questa giornata!!?
Preso dall’entusiasmo ho riunito attorno a me degli amici musicisti per cercare di contribuire anche noi a questa magica atmosfera e questo è ciò che abbiamo ricevuto in dono: un momento di intesa che siamo riusciti a catturare, un “buona la prima” strappato agli ultimi minuti a disposizione dopo una mattinata spesa a registrare in studio!

December 8th has always been an important day. It is a day that people with children often dedicate to the preparation of the Christmas tree, a day when families gather and occupy themselves with everything that deals with getting ready for Christmas.
Silver Bells describes exactly these moments of full immersion in the perfect spirit of Christmas. What song could be better than this to create the soundtrack of this day?
Taken with the enthusiasm of the holidays, I reunited several of my musician friends around me to add our own contribution to this magical atmosphere, which is exactly what we received in return: a moment of understanding in which we were able to capture a good first take, cut out of the last remaining minutes available after a whole morning spent recording in the studio.
