While this isn't something I would normally do with my own work, it's interesting to see if it's possible to turn day into night by completely underexposing the ambient light with a high shutter speed and then using a flash to light a subject. In this video, you'll see Manny Ortiz and I take 2 classic Minolta cameras (which may or may not work right) around the Opryland Resort in pretty terrible lighting conditions and attempt to make some magic! This was our first time photographing a model exclusively using film, and it was quite a learning experience!
