The anguish and angst in this song was something I really wanted to translate on to piano, and I wanted this arrangement to hit hard. I adore arranging Paramore, and always will do! It just so happens to be my favourite Taylor song, so of course, I jumped at the opportunity! If you've been following my channel for a while, you'll know it's no secret how much Paramore have inspired me throughout my life. They're the sole reason I started this channel, I've been arranging their music since I was a kid, and I just recently turned 30 which is such a wild concept...Their music has been with me through all my highs, and lows, and they've just remained a constant at every key stage in my life. They often say how they've grown up with their fans and I couldn't relate to this more. When I first started arranging, I wasn't particularly good, but I've forever strived to improve where I can. It's wild to think how some of my earlier arrangements sound from the early days, compared to where I'm at now. It's always a work in progress, so I feel growth with them also manifests creatively for me which has been such a privilege. Arranging their music feels like home, and is truly one of my favourite things to do. I've been so lucky to have their support in the past, but also to have the support of you all here means the absolute world to me. This Is Why is such an intricate and detailed record, it was absolutely incredible to pick out as many parts as I could and arrange it for the piano. It's truly been a pleasure, and I've always been inspired by Hayley, Taylor and Zac's work. 'This Is Why' is my personal favourite Paramore record to date. I used to have a dream of playing on stage with them when I was a kid, even if I could just hit one note on the keys I'd be so grateful! But yeah, the older I get the more I think that'll stay a dream, but it's still a dream I'll hold on to. If anyone has continued to listen to my Paramore arrangements through the years, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do this because I absolutely adore it, and a huge thank you to Paramore for being such a huge inspiration, for creating the beautiful art you make, for being such a huge part of mine and so many other peoples lives, and for sticking it out through the highs and lows no mater what. The build up is so beautiful in this song, with the ending, Hayley's soaring vocals, T's driving guitar and Zac's drums just really round up the album in the most stunning way. I hope you guys like this arrangement!

I adore the woodwind intro and it really reminded me of the main theme from Ocarina of Time in the best way, I kind of lost my shit when I heard it to be honest. I'm not sure it's a direct reference or intentional but I just thought it was so cool. May have snuck a bit in this arrangement ;) I hope you guys enjoy this, and you owe it to yourself to stream 'This Is Why'. It's a phenomenal record.

I can't tell you how good it feels to have a new Paramore album alive in the world, I know it's been a long but worth it wait for this incredible record. I just can't sum up in words how much I adore this record with my whole heart, it's sonically incredible with Hayley, Taylor and Zac giving it their absolute everything. I've been covering and arranging their music for a good while now, and many of you know it's how I started YouTube. I owe everything to Paramore and I'm infinitely grateful to them for inspiring me creatively since I was a literally a child, and this just really feels like a full circle moment. 'Liar' struck me so hard when I first heard it, and gave me chills. Such a beautifully written song, and cemented itself as my favourite from the record when I first heard it. I made this arrangement as a tribute to this song, and to Paramore for just being such a huge constant in my life for nearly the past 2 decades. I think it's no secret how much of a fan I am of their music, they're pretty much the whole reason I started making music, they've inspired me in every aspect of music and I just love them so much. I started on YouTube when I was a teenager because of them. As soon as I heard the news, I got the usual rush their music evokes, as well as the inspiration and really wanted to create a piano arrangement that showcases incredible musicianship and songwriting.
