It is one of the newest hikes added by the Land Trust of North Alabama and is a unique and spectacular one. Watching the falls drain into the over 300 ft deep Paul's Cavern from the sinkhole and then back out next to the ancient Springhouse at the base of the trail is an amazing site! Although long (almost 2 mile loop) and strenuous in sections, the reward is worth the effort. Of course you can go at your own pace from your easy chair or take a snack to enjoy at the top. Only about 10 miles from downtown Huntsville and close to Hwy 72 if coming from Scottsboro, it also has a scenic view of farmlands and the Appalachian foothills of North Alabama./media:description> media:community> media:starRating count="1" average="5.00" min="1" max="5"/> media:statistics views="18"/> /media:community> /media:group> /entry> entry> id>yt:video:27F8WrvlNzk/id> yt:videoId>27F8WrvlNzk/yt:videoId> yt:channelId>UCe0DxAyeskzpChhdxqBZd2w/yt:channelId> title>Durango Trip - House Tour & Glass Fusing/title> link rel="alternate" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27F8WrvlNzk"/> author> name>Charles Harvell/name> uri>https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe0DxAyeskzpChhdxqBZd2w/uri> /author> published>2024-02-08T23:14:39+00:00/published> updated>2024-05-22T10:01:21+00:00/updated> media:group> media:title>Durango Trip - House Tour & Glass Fusing/media:title> media:content url="https://www.youtube.com/v/27F8WrvlNzk?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390"/> media:thumbnail url="https://i3.ytimg.com/vi/27F8WrvlNzk/hqdefault.jpg" width="480" height="360"/> media:description>This video shows the house in Durango and the surrounding mountains. Our Guide Ami gives a detailed overview of the Temple Mount area and points out points of interest in the new and old city of Jerusalem. From there we walked down to the Garden of Gethsame and the Church of All Nations which recognizes the agony of Jesus' time in the garden in prayer, and his arrest by the Jewish and Roman authorities that began his walk towards the sacrifice of the Cross. We sang and spent time in personal reflection in the Garden. We then walked to through the Lions Gate into the old city to visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed the lame man. Nearby we went into the beautiful church of St. Anne and were privileged to join in the acapella singing of three hymns. After another walk past the Lions Gate, we entered the underground complex of tunnels and cisterns which were designed by Herod to supply water to the Temple Mount. At the end of that tour, we were at the original street level during Jesus time and saw original pavements which he probably walked during his trip to be tried by Pilate in the Fortress of Antonio. Following the end is a bonus contained two songs we sung in the Garden. Audio is weak on those so I included some photos as well. ··· ··· ··· ··· This is #18 in the FalconGuides paperback created by Joe Cuhaj. Only about 10 miles from downtown Huntsville and close to Hwy 72 if coming from Scottsboro, it also has a scenic view of farmlands and the Appalachian foothills of North Alabama.

The route runs from 9am to 3pm and you can purchase a box lunch or bring your own. The footage came from one GoPro and two iPhones being used by three adults. The first 10 minutes of the video were edited in traditional style. It is followed by a fast paced video short created by GoPro automatically with a musical overlay and lots of cuts and glitches.

··· ··· ··· ··· Adam and his two boys spent a day Snowboarding at Purgatory Resort as part of their Christmas present. Fresh snowfall made excellent conditions but also created some poor visibility. I was suffering from a case of altitude sickness after having flown all day before and spending the night at over 6000' elevation. Old men shouldn't tempt fate by hurtling down mountains!

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 11.07.2023 · 23:00:09 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Although the Church of the Holy Sepulcher has been recognized as the location of the Crucifixion and Burial Tomb of Jesus our Savior, in the mid 1800s some archaeologists felt there were some questions about the scriptural and physical evidence. Their searching brought them to the remains of an ancient working wine garden very near a rock hill which was consistent with the place of the skull (Golgotha) which contained an empty tomb. After just touring the Church of the Holy Sepulchre it Wass refreshing to get a new perspective on what the actual site and tomb might have looked like in the first century.

12:: Israel Tour - Old City of Jerusalem -Part 3 Gethsemane/ Mt. of Olives/ Footsteps of Jesus

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 02.07.2023 · 16:00:30 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· This video starts on the top of the Mount of Olives on a cold and rainy morning. Enjoy!

13:: Israel Tour Singing at St Anne's Church

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 01.07.2023 · 02:47:04 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· One of the most beautiful and longest standing churches in the Old City is St. Anne's which has been standing for over 1000 yrs. It's simplicity is the secret to its beauty and it's acoustics make it one of the most wonderful places in the world to exercise and appreciate the beauty of acapella singing. The members of our group are mostly from a body of believers who practice only acapella singing during worship so we eagerly awaited the opportunity to worship the Father in this place. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did, even though the GoPro was our only way to record the event.

Then when he realized he was dying, he had much of it torn out and redesigned to become a glorious mausoleum. It is located in sector C of the West Bank and is a source of contention between the Israelis and Palestinians even today. Marvel at the elaborate water system and appreciate the very unique design of this four towered fortress. See the copper ring that may have been the signet ring of Pilate

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 04.06.2023 · 17:00:03 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· ALERT! This video is primarily AUDIO since no pictures are allowed in the Shrine of the Book. I made the decision to post it because it has so much excellent information you may want to review. - I added pictures from the museum over the audio to reduce the boredom, but you may find it distracting if you are trying to really concentrate on the audio, so just look away or listen on headphone without watching - my feelings won’t be hurt because the Go Pro doesn’t take the best photos in lower light.
