It's a type of Additive Manufacturing. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is the most common type of 3d printing. Filament is the material used to create the 3d objects. Polylactic Acid or PLA is the easiest filament to get started with but there are many others. Bambu Lab is a company that creates 3d printers - they are on the cutting edge of the technology. The A1 3d printer is the one shown in the video. The Toolhead and the Build Plate move around to create your 3D Object. Several stepper motors are involved to move the pieces of the machine. The Slicer is what creates the G-Code which is then used by the 3d printer. The AMS lite can be used if you want to print in multiple colors. There is a lot of waste that comes because of this process - Purged Filament or "Printer Poop". The A1 is a "Bed Slinger" and is an Entry Level 3D Printer. The X1-Carbon is an improved 3D printer. It's called a "CoreXY" because the Toolhead only moves along the X and Y Axis. This allows for much more stable 3d prints. #3Dprinter #bambulab #b3d/media:description> media:community> media:starRating count="55631" average="5.00" min="1" max="5"/> media:statistics views="1575102"/> /media:community> /media:group> /entry> entry> id>yt:video:VKmctelyxSQ/id> yt:videoId>VKmctelyxSQ/yt:videoId> yt:channelId>UCbsfyGlrjrKQC0gbzK0-EiA/yt:channelId> title>Burj Khalifa - Tallest Building in the World/title> link rel="alternate" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKmctelyxSQ"/> author> name>Jared Owen/name> uri>https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbsfyGlrjrKQC0gbzK0-EiA/uri> /author> published>2024-10-07T12:00:41+00:00/published> updated>2024-10-07T12:01:46+00:00/updated> media:group> media:title>Burj Khalifa - Tallest Building in the World/media:title> media:content url="https://www.youtube.com/v/VKmctelyxSQ?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390"/> media:thumbnail url="https://i3.ytimg.com/vi/VKmctelyxSQ/hqdefault.jpg" width="480" height="360"/> media:description>Very unique building! It was designed by Finnish-American Eero Saarinen and built in the 1960s. It's called an Orthotropic Design because the structure on the outside supports all the weight. The shape of the Arch is an Inverted Catenary Curve. Creeper Derricks were used to build the arch - slowly going up the sides as it increased in height. Then the Stabilizing Truss was installed to brace the sides of the arch. The last piece is the Keystone - to get it to fit they sprayed water over the south leg and installed Hydraulic Jacks to widen the gap. The Tram system was designed by Dick Bowser. There are eight cars on each side - each tram car can fit 5 people. You enter the museum by going underground. There's a museum inside with six separate areas to learn more about the arch. You can also visit the Tucker Theater, Arch Store, or Arch Cafe. The tram ride will take about 3 or 4 minutes to reach the top. The Oberservation Deck can fit about 100 people and there are 16 windows on each side. #GatewayArch #stlouis #b3d/media:description> media:community> media:starRating count="68861" average="5.00" min="1" max="5"/> media:statistics views="2988943"/> /media:community> /media:group> /entry> entry> id>yt:video:45IUMAiWdPU/id> yt:videoId>45IUMAiWdPU/yt:videoId> yt:channelId>UCbsfyGlrjrKQC0gbzK0-EiA/yt:channelId> title>The Reason USA joined World War II #USSArizona/title> link rel="alternate" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45IUMAiWdPU"/> author> name>Jared Owen/name> uri>https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbsfyGlrjrKQC0gbzK0-EiA/uri> /author> published>2024-07-13T12:00:05+00:00/published> updated>2024-11-18T23:46:15+00:00/updated> media:group> media:title>The Reason USA joined World War II #USSArizona/media:title> media:content url="https://www.youtube.com/v/45IUMAiWdPU?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390"/> media:thumbnail url="https://i1.ytimg.com/vi/45IUMAiWdPU/hqdefault.jpg" width="480" height="360"/> media:description>The USS Arizona was sunk at Pearl Harbor December 7th, 1941.
