The garment was recently discovered after being tucked away in a London attic for years. After its discovery, it underwent "a meticulous, museum-caliber restoration conducted by professional textile conservators in London," Propstore said.
Along with Princess Leia's gown, 1,400 Hollywood costumes, props and movie paraphernalia will be available in Los Angeles, California, next week during the Prophouse auction.
The live auction will be held June 28-30 at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

And then you got women who transition into men that go against the men, which never happens. Very rarely. It’s always the other way around. There’s no girls that go, ‘I’m transitioning because I feel like I;m male’ and they go into men’s sport. They don’t do that. It’s only the other way around. And if it was the other way around, for example, in combat sports, unless she’s taking a lot of testosterone and steroids – which is banned – you’re gonna get blasted by men."

Recently Zyan and his friends visited Da Nang, famous for its long, sandy beaches, but they were surprised most establishments in the central city closed before 11 p.m.
"Around 9 p.m. we got dressed and went out for entertainment. We booked a Grab service to a night market but when we got there, people started cleaning up everything and closing their stalls," he said.
"The whole group was hungry, so thought we would go to the city center to find something to eat, but the shops had all begun to close, leaving only three pubs or sidewalk cafes open."
In 2019, before the onset of the pandemic, the city received a record 18 million foreign visitors, but they spent little.
The average spending by a visitor was $7.5 per night, only 7.5% of what they would spend in Singapore and a fourth of the spending in Thailand, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism./media:description>

The garment was recently discovered after being tucked away in a London attic for years. After its discovery, it underwent "a meticulous, museum-caliber restoration conducted by professional textile conservators in London," Propstore said.
Along with Princess Leia's gown, 1,400 Hollywood costumes, props and movie paraphernalia will be available in Los Angeles, California, next week during the Prophouse auction.
The live auction will be held June 28-30 at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
Among the many other items up for sale are Batman's motorcycle from the 2008 film "The Dark Knight," a shield used by Brad Pitt in "Troy" and a "mud-splattered" cloak and glasses worn by Daniel Radcliffe in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets."

Turkish man Zyan, 33, who has been living in Hanoi for more than five years, said he feels bored with nightlife services in the capital.
"It's really boring and like there is almost no nightlife in Hanoi," he said.
Zyan said there were no entertainment options in Hanoi except Ta Hien beer street, with just a few bars that are always crowded and cramped on weekends.
Recently Zyan and his friends visited Da Nang, famous for its long, sandy beaches, but they were surprised most establishments in the central city closed before 11 p.m.
"Around 9 p.m. we got dressed and went out for entertainment. We booked a Grab service to a night market but when we got there, people started cleaning up everything and closing their stalls," he said.
"The whole group was hungry, so thought we would go to the city center to find something to eat, but the shops had all begun to close, leaving only three pubs or sidewalk cafes open."
In 2019, before the onset of the pandemic, the city received a record 18 million foreign visitors, but they spent little.
The average spending by a visitor was $7.5 per night, only 7.5% of what they would spend in Singapore and a fourth of the spending in Thailand, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

The "Green Card" actress pointed out how men and women are viewed differently as they age in the limelight.
"Men are seen as really sexy when they start to get wrinkles," she told the outlet. "I like all the terms we use for older men. I want to hold onto those terms. I want to be debonair. Why not? What a beautiful term."
The L'Oréal Paris International spokeswoman said there is a very clear reason why women are not as accepted as they age as men are.
We've been brainwashed, and it's a psychological thing that we've bought into because we've been fed it for so long," she said. "We don't allow ourselves to feel good about ourselves and we even perceive [older men] as sexy, because we've been taught this."

I mean … I'm not sure that you've accomplished what you set out to accomplish. But that's the director's prerogative. So, I don't know. Maybe there is a case to be made for that. But that's not what's going on here," she says of AI's evolvement.
Given the current climate that includes a nearly month-long writers' strike spearheaded by the Writer's Guild of America (WGA), Bateman calls attention to a problem many writers' fear — their work will be stolen.
"It's more complex than what I'm about to say, but you basically … feed it a bunch of information, you give it a task and then, based on the information it has, it gives you the result," she says of AI programming. "It accomplishes the task you gave it. … If you're asking it to write a screenplay, what are you training it on? What are you feeding it? Other people's scripts. That's plagiarism. … The use of it is going to have an incredibly bad effect — disastrous effect on the entertainment business."
The WGA has a litany of concerns and requests for the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). Per its website, the WGA has specific proposals with regard to artificial intelligence, including the "regulation of AI on minimum basic agreement (MBA)-covered projects; AI can’t write or rewrite literary material; can’t be used as source material; and MBA-covered material can’t be used to train AI."
On the other side, some in the entertainment industry have spoken out about concerns being less in artificial intelligence and more with compensation.
Paul Schrader, the famed screenwriter of "Taxi Driver" and director of "American Gigolo," previously wrote on Facebook: "The WGA position on AI is a fascinating conundrum. The guild doesn’t fear AI as much as it fears not getting paid. Burrow into the logic. It’s apparent that AI will become a force in film entertainment.
"This, I think, is the WGA position: If a WGA member employs AI, he/she should be paid as a writer. If a producer uses AI to create a script, they must find a WGA writer to pay."
However, Bateman argues that's simply not the case because she knows how to write.
"I don't need an AI program to, like, come up with stuff for me," Bateman said. "Like, that just sounds ridiculous to me. It's like [to] have somebody work out for you or something if you enjoy working out, right?
"I hope I'm absolutely wrong. I would love nothing more than to be totally wrong about this.".
