The renowned Austrian brewery is headquartered in Obertrum near Salzburg and is considered a specialist in pilsner-style beers. Working with Trumer and Kiesbye’s Bierkulturhaus, where the “beer sommelier movement” began, a special glass has now been developed that perfects the pilsner beer experience. In countless design and tasting workshops, the glass experts at Spiegelau joined forces with pilsner experts from Trumer as well as a group of beer sommelier graduates to finalize the crystal glass, which is customized to accentuate the aromatic structure of pilsner beers. The shape of the glass is designed to help release the delicate hops aromas. It provides the ideal balance between bitter and residual sweetness to deliver pure refreshment and inspire you to enjoy sip after sip.

Spiegelau setzt im Jahr 2016 seine Craft-Beer-Glasses-Serie fort und entwickelte gemeinsam mit der Trumer Privatbrauerei das CraftPils Glass. Die renommierte österreichische Trumer Privatbrauerei mit Sitz in Obertrum bei Salzburg gilt als Spezialist für Pilsbiere. Unter Einbindung von Kiesbye’s Bierkulturhaus, der Gründungsstätte der Biersommelierbewegung, wurde nun gemeinsam mit Trumer ein spezielles Pilsglas entwickelt, das den Pilsgenuss perfektioniert. In etlichen Design- und Verkostungsworkshops entwickelten die Glasexperten von Spiegelau gemeinsam mit den Pilsexperten von Trumer sowie Diplom Biersommeliers ein auf die Aromazusammensetzung eines Pilsbieres perfekt abgestimmtes Kristallglas. Die Glasform wurde darauf ausgelegt, die Entfaltung der feinen Hopfenaromen zu unterstützen. Es wird eine ideale Balance zwischen Bittere und Restsüße erzeugt, die pure Erfrischung und viel Lust zum Weitertrinken liefert.
