Of course you can choose to do any size and any amount of pieces you want. The bigger collages you want to do, the bigger the substrate has to bee and the more collage material you need. The first 4 pieces is 14 x 14 cm and the second series is 10 x 10 cm.
I used 300 gsm watercolor paper on 35 x 55 cm, as my substrate. The viewfinder you can cut out of any kind of papers or cardstock.

I have given it some thought, what to do now. It was the 1,4 meter long earth pigment dyed fabric that gave me the idea. A scroll with slow stitching. Right now I have no idea what to do, or expect. Time will show. So exciting. For a couple of Fridays there will be a new video with the developing on the scroll from the week.

8:: Collages made random and using a viewfinder

Of course you can choose to do any size and any amount of pieces you want. The bigger collages you want to do, the bigger the substrate has to bee and the more collage material you need. The first 4 pieces is 14 x 14 cm and the second series is 10 x 10 cm.
I used 300 gsm watercolor paper on 35 x 55 cm, as my substrate. The viewfinder you can cut out of any kind of papers or cardstock.

17:: Collage with botanical theme No 36
13.06.2023 · 10:00:17 ··· 01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· ··· ··· ··· ··· ··· This is the 36 collage in a series with a botanical theme and it will be the last, I do in this series. 36 pieces must be enough. I will be using different techniques such as gelli printing and stitching. All papers are my own prints.
You can make such great effects with Goldens Iridescent Bronze fine paint, (especially with the high flow) by spraying with water. On the gelli plate the paint beads up and divides in 2 colors, metallic and turquoise patina. To clean your plate for the leftover paint, roll a thin layer white acrylic on and lift all the paint of with black paper. You get lovely papers looking like old walls.
