Obviously, the higher your D's skills 2 & 3 are, the better results you'll get * If you need the extra sliver of damage and have enough health to spare, your team can take face tank 1 laser hit without dying or being stunned * You can i-frame/dodge by quickly switching to Noise (keeping her in cover) when the bombs start to fall towards you and almost instantly, switch back to manually controlling your main DPS * If Modernia's last wing is about to be destroyed, time it so that it overlaps with Modernia's animation when she moves backwards. This will prevent Modernia from entering her teleportation phase * Leverage Nikke's that have an area of effect (AOE) burst attack, which can easily destroy Modernia's bombs. This guide features Sakura & Ludmilla to overcome the turret/missile phase, with no i-framing needed. I will also cover whether or not to pull on the Sakura banner. Combined with Ludmilla's skill 2, the total damage reduction is just over 100%, which means that while Ludmilla is taunting, she will take 0 (game calculates it as 1) damage * The remaining DPS are substitutable. My top picks other than Scarlet & Modernia are: Laplace, Drake & Alice * With enough DPS to quickly destroy the missiles and turrets + high enough Sakura burst skill levelling, you can drop Ludmilla completely and have a strong B2 DPS Nikke instead (such as Rupee). This video is a supplement to my previous Noise i-frame guide here: https://youtu.be/hQGYTJ_8wQc The main updates are: * During Modernia's laser bean attack, there is a small sliver of time that allows you to pop out of cover and deal damage to Modernia's core * You can i-frame/dodge by quickly switching to Noise (keeping her in cover) when the bombs start to fall towards you and almost instantly, switch back to manually controlling your main DPS * Leverage Nikke's that have an area of effect (AOE) burst attack, which can easily destroy Modernia's bombs. This will save you the effort of needing to i-frame at all * All DPS Nikkes are substitutable - preferable to have AOE burst skills, to more easily destroy the bombs * B2 Dolla can be substituted with Rupee for DPS/team buffs, or Viper/Guilty for straight up DPS * B1 Liter can be substituted with N102, to retain a team ATK buff * Continue to approach the wings similar to my previous video - only start to destroy the 1st wing when Modernia has around ~1.5 bars of health left. The exact timing will vary, depending on your team's DPS, but the point is to avoid destroying both wings, which triggers Modernia's teleportation phase, making her very difficult to attack. I also explain my opinion on whether or not you should pull for Biscuit. By using Noah and Biscuit's invulnerability skills + Noah's taunt, this allows you to tank almost everything, without the need to dodge missiles perfectly. The main techniques are: * Have Biscuit - we are leveraging her skill 2, which triggers invincibility for 5 seconds on a defender, when their health falls below 50%. It also heals them a bit as well * Have a tanky taunt defender - I personally used Noah, but possible alternatives are: Ludmilla & Makima. Noah is preferred, since she has her own invincibility skill as well. This guide shows my comp and a few tricks & tips for surviving Alteisen's missiles, by utilizing the Noise taunt i-frame/dodge technique + 2 different strategies to survive and destroy the turrets with Diesel. This video is an update to my older Alteisen guide: https://youtu.be/sKkNz1TuF8I The main techniques are: * Right before Alteisen shoots the green missiles, Noise needs to hit the boss with a fully charged attack, in order to proc her taunt skill (Noise can also i-frame Blacksmith: as shown here: https://youtube.com/shorts/DOE4LqPOrI4 and also Modernia: https://youtu.be/hQGYTJ_8wQc) * The green missiles are fired in recurring sets of 4. It's easy to identify them by sound (try turning off the game's music to hear the SFX better), but I have also labeled them visually in my video. Every 4 missiles, you need to alternate between the defense and attack pose in order to dodge them * If you're still having trouble keeping track of the 4 missiles, you can also visually identify where/what the missiles are targeting. If the missiles are off-centered to the right, they are aiming for Noise in the attack pose (i.e. as long as Noise takes cover, she does not take damage) and vice versa In the video, I show an example of these missiles circled in blue are off-centered to the right and in red for off-centered to the left * 2 methods to pass the turret phase: 1) Destroy the turret, right when it starts to fire. This negates almost all/all the damage 2) Use Diesel's burst + skill 1 to tank all the turret damage * Phase 2 of this boss is a long DPS check. Make sure that your main DPS always has their gun reloaded, as the interruption circles fly by really quickly * As Biscuit is releasing this week as part of the Bow Wow Paradise event, I see lots of potential pairing her up with characters such as Makima/Noise/Diesel/Noah/Ludmilla, to offer different alternatives to tank the turrets * And be sure to check out the awesome folks at https://nikke.gg They also have amazing guides on all the special interception bosses, tier lists, equipment guides and much more! This guide is an update to my previous video: https://youtu.be/IOZaFC7dpqw The main points are: * For your burst 1 & 2, it is ideal to have support characters that buff attacks (N102, Liter, Dolla, Rupee) * For those that have a good healer and Liter, you may want to purposely take a mixture of health & cover damage when Blacksmith shoots you with the rifle. This helps to spread out the damage taken and puts less pressure for either your healer or Liter to keep your team healthy * When you're low on health, use your healer burst (Pepper for me. Common to sub out for Rapunzel). Else, use your support/buff burst (Liter/N102) * Use two burst 3 characters that have an AOE attack. Time your burst against Blacksmith's bombs, so that they are destroyed. I personally use Scarlet & Harran, but other AOE burst Nikkes such as: Modernia, Drake, Yulha and Privaty also work * If your burst 3 is not coming online in time, take manual control of a SR or RL character and manually spam their basic attack to build your burst charge * Attack Blacksmith's core (red sphere in the middle) for extra damage. ··· ··· ··· ··· This guide shows a few tips & tricks relating to the "Defense Battle" game mode in Nikke. These levels are found in: campaign, tribe tower, manufacturer tribe tower, and lost sector. This guide will helps you pass difficult stages, even if you are underleveled and behind the 160 wall. The main techniques are: * Strategize using the 2 special raptures that show up in this game mode. The flying rapture disables all raptures on screen while the grounded rapture produces a gravity field and pulls all raptures towards it. Timing these correctly can help save your level and also produce some heavy DPS combos (e.g. gravity rapture + Laplace burst) * As long as you still have a few (5+) life points when there is around 15 seconds remaining, you can just go AFK. There is no point in trying to fight and risk your team dying, which results in a failed level. Instead, just keep your Nikke's safe and run the timer down to pass the level instead. ··· ··· ··· ··· Time for the recurring Modernia special individual interception grind. This guide shows various techniques, including the Noise i-frame technique to full clear Modernia. While I was able to clear Modernia using techniques from my previous Modernia guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd1Nsgj1I9k) with a 1-1-3 team comp, i-framing was inconsistent and it involved a lot of retries. But fear not for Noise is here - she can easily taunt and i-frame all of Modernia's bombs, leaving the rest of your team free to DPS away. The main techniques are: * Skip intro animation only AFTER Modernia is shown * Burst and destroy Modernia's core/head, to prevent more than 1 screen wipe attack * Use Centi or another RL/SR character and manually spam attacks to generate burst ASAP * Switch to Noise right when the bombs begin to come towards you and stay in cover.
