1:: Anthrocon weekend July 11-12, 2015

2:: Camp Bow Wow Air Bud Day 12 10 05

··· ··· ··· ··· In 2005 a new Dog camp opened in Greentree Borough, Pittsburgh PA, and part of its grand opening was an open house, people and Dogs from the area were invited to see the kennels, play area, and Santa 'Paws' was there to get pictures with the Dogs. Disney's Air Bud was invited to perform there too, and they had a brown Dog costumer waving to passing cars on the Parkway. I mainly went to see Air Bud and got his trainer's autograph on my basketball! I took my Pure Digital Flip type camera to get Air Bud live and shots around the camp. Here's the original promo for the event: "Camp Bow Wow's Holiday Party & Open House This Saturday! This Saturday December 10th from 12-4, Camp Bow Wow will be hosting our first Holiday Party & Open House. To open the latest Camp Bow Wow with a splash we're flying the International Canine Star, "Air Bud" to Pittsburgh! That's right, this sports hero and movie star is going to be right here at Camp Bow Wow Pittsburgh for one day only. Air Bud will be performing demonstrations of his amazing basketball, soccer and hockey skills all afternoon. He'll also be signing autographs. (You might want to bring in a hockey stick, soccer ball or basket ball for him to sign. What a great Christmas present). Our open house will have food, drinks, music and fun. Doberman Rescue will have some potential puppy campers for adoption. Paws For A Cause will have PAWS puppies who need foster homes. Fawn, the PAWS demo dog will be showing off all the neat training that PAWS service dogs do to help out so many people in our communities. Also, Hurrah and Onyx, the Camp Bow Wow co-foster puppies will be on site to meet everyone! There will be doggy pictures with Santa Paws, so bring in your camper looking his or her best. Proceeds of these photos to benefit Animal Friends. Animal Friends will be on site to tell you about their wonderful organization and accept donations. We look forward to seeing all of you and all your campers! Feel free to bring any dogs who are current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella and are social with both people and other dogs."

3:: Boomer Tosh promo AM 690 3-18-14

··· ··· ··· ··· I have an AM radio station and with Tosh coming up, I decided to do a special fun promotion for my friends in the area. I made a sign telling people to tune in to 690 on the dial to get more information about the show airing tonight. I made a recording and DJ Beta made one too, and they were looped to play one after the other over the radio, hoping that people would tune in their car radios to hear more. A guy in a Jeep asked why he should tune in, but all I could do was bark. I saw a couple of drivers looking like they were tuning their radios into the station. A couple stopped in front of my house in their van, saying they saw the promo for the show on TV and thought that was cool, and I pointed to my sign, and tuned in to hear it, and she said, 'I think he put on a radio station'. 4:: Ron and Boomer Watching I'm A Dog On Taboo USA

··· ··· ··· ··· Here's a video from the night Ron and me watched the Taboo USA 'Secret Identities' show that we were in. I went over to his house to watch the first airing on June 4, 2013. Ron is the friend in the show, and he knows my Doggishness well, and was the first person to make a connection to Furry people on the net. One day in 1997 I was at Ron's house helping him to put up a radio antenna on his house. In thanks he took me to an art exhibit by Albert Ducros, who painted anthropomorphic Dog people. After the exhibit, Ron asked me what it was all about and as I was barking about liking that sort of thing, Dog-Human mixes, he mentioned that he had seen people called 'Furries' on line, so we checked it out, I thought that was really cool, folks into being animals, with some who are Dogs and other animals in Human bodies, and I joined. I have to bark this, it was exciting to find anyone who had any kind of connection with the experiences I had, so finding the Furries an eye opener! Ron and me had some deep conversations of what it is to be a Dog over the years, and he knows some of the deeper aspects of it, and he's always been understanding of it. I wouldn't bark that being a Dog has ever been a secret identity really, though as a younger pup is was seen as just pretend play, and I did have to hide it sometimes later on, when as a teen I was supposed to be giving up on things like 'pretend play' and fantasizing. Thanks to the crew who recorded the segment, and who seeked me out and offered to do the documentary segment with me and Ron. They were understanding, and with a good sense of it was about. 5:: Boomer The Scooter Dog in honor of Norman Dog

··· ··· ··· ··· I love Norman the Dog riding on his scooter, I think he's awesome and he taught me a new trick, scooter riding! I was excited and got my scooter and took a little video with friends on my street. The day is really for Norman the Briard, but I'm also a French Sheepdog, a Pyrenean Shepherd, so wow! I've eaten Milk Bones dipped in Nutella before and at other times, but this is the first video of me getting into it like a normal Dog. ··· ··· ··· ··· I went to see Doggiewoggiez! Poochiewoochiez! a film mash-up and stage show put on my Everything Is Terrible at the Melwood Screening Room at Pittsburgh Filmmakers on April 2, 2012. The film is based on Alejandro Jodorowsky's art film The Holy Mountain, but made up of all Dog clips to tell the story. As a fan of all Dog movies and media, it was a thrill for me to see an all Canine presentation like this, that was all Dog and simple fun, and wasn't targeted to any group like Furries or Dog catchers or anyone like that, it stands alone. I was kinda doing the 'eyeball cam' thing, darting from here to there in the shot, so it's a bit jumpy on the image, but I'll try to be smoother next time.

15:: Just After Boomer's Appeal 3-30-11

··· ··· ··· ··· Well, I'll know when they get back to me if I get to change my name to Boomer The Dog, and if so I'll go back to the original court to have it changed. I had three judges, and they had good questions. They asked me to consider changing my name to Boomer Dog, and wondered if it could cause confusion in some situations to have a middle name of 'The'. That seemed to be an important point, possibly causing confusion with creditors in some way. I don't use credit, and it's something I don't understand, but I'd think that computers could handle any name. Thanks to Johnny Mac for the filming, not the clearest sound, so I hope that you can hear it.
