Constantine 2 could also go in a completely different direction, with Constantine and Midnite (Djimon Hounsou, A Quiet Place 2) pursuing other investigations. With ample comic material to draw from, the possibilities are pretty expansive. As of now, there is no release date set for Constantine 2. The project is currently in its early development stages, meaning there won't be significant news for a while. Goldsman still has to piece together the script, and the greater story details are presumably still being worked out by Lawrence and the team of producers. Coupled with this are Keanu Reeves' and Francis Lawrence's busy schedules. Lawrence is currently spending his time working on the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and is also attached to the Netflix adaptation of the game Bioshock. Reeves is attached to about four franchises at the moment, and since his career is in full swing, it's highly unlikely that the Constantine sequel will be the only work lining his in-tray for a while. The 2019 Lion King movie was a true remake, telling Simba's story in a new, updated medium. With plenty of animated sequels over the years, there was plenty of potential for Disney to continue the story in live-action and, sure enough, a new installment in the franchise was announced in 2020. Reports stated that the new Lion King movie would focus on Mufasa and Scar's origins, with Moonlight's Barry Jenkins set to direct. Reeves is attached to about four franchises at the moment, and since his career is in full swing, it's highly unlikely that the Constantine sequel will be the only work lining his in-tray for a while. Follow ► http://bit.ly/2HHjbeT Inspiration behind this video: We don’t know quite as much about Justice League 2 and 3 compared to The Snyder Cut, but among the details that have been parceled out over the years include the heroes traveling to Apokolips to fight Darkseid and his minions, the Green Lantern Corps getting involved, the heroes losing their battle, Bruce Wayne’s Knightmare vision coming to pass after Darkseid levels Earth, and the heroes making one last stand against Darkseid. Yeah, that sounds like quite the explosive narrative, so is there a chance we could still see the fully story be brought to life someday? While the prospect of seeing Zack Snyder’s Justice League trilogy be fully realized is obviously enticing to a lot of fans, there are a few obstacles in the way. For one thing, the DCEU isn’t as concerned with MCU-style interconnectivity among its movies anymore, and while it’s one thing to spend tens of millions of dollars to complete a movie that already went through principal photography, the studio may not comfortable yet moving forward with any full-fledged follow-ups. Plus, in addition to finishing Army of the Dead, Snyder also plans to tackle a film adaptation of The Fountainhead, so even if he wanted to jump back into the DCEU fray beyond finishing his Justice League cut, it would be a while before he’d be able to do so. The first film, released in 2019, enjoyed massive success at the box office and went on to score one Oscar and three Golden Globe nominations. It told the story of Benoit Blanc, an eccentric detective who was tapped to investigate the death of the patriarch of a wealthy but dysfunctional family. The murder mystery was written and directed by Rian Johnson and starred Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Katherine Langford. Knives Out 2 will see Benoit Blanc take on another thrilling case, with Craig reprising his role as the master private investigator. Johnson also returns as the film's writer and director. The sequel will see a new all-star cast, including Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, and Dave Bautista.
