:)) Der Künstler: Gray Contrast / Dorian Goetsch Thank you!

5:: ARD Presseclub (1989 /1990 ?)

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 10.12.2017 · 20:11:29 ··· ···

6:: Documenta IX (1992) - Van Gogh TV - Piazza Virtuale (23min)

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.12.2017 · 18:49:54 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Blast from the Past...!

7:: Sugar Bullet "Blackstar" (1991), Album "Unrefined"

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 04.10.2017 · 21:13:33 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Surprise, surprise! Me, a Bowiefan, found this track on an old CD in my closet. The album's name is "Unrefined" by the band "Sugar Bullet", and the song is called "Blackstar". Reason enough for uploading! Did not find much information about it in the web, but you still can buy it rather cheap at the usual places. So I hope to promote it here a little bit. This was the sound of the early nineties, kidz..! Hehe. (Here with one of my selfmade crappy semi-analogue animation videos). Enjoy! :)

8:: Murder in Monochrome - "no one ever left" (2006)

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 24.09.2016 · 23:37:19 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Another lost gem! The name of the band was "Murder in Monochrome" - and seems they just released one little CD with just two songs on it ("burning houses" + "you won't sleep tonight") in 2007 on Cablestone Recordings. Think, this cd is hard to find today, but the two songs are on youtube and other places in the web... (you should search for them!) But THIS song here is not on the CD. I found it on a website called "soundclick.com", where they say it's from a promo-cd (2006). You still can find it there. It's not available as official download in one of the usual places like amazon or itunes (at least I did not find it). So unfortunately I cannot tell you to BUY the song, as it seems there is no way to do it. But I think this song is wonderful and needs more attention. And the band? Unfortunately they split years ago. Here they are: James Hewitt - Guitar, Tom Potts - Lead Singer + Guitars + Synth, Kris Downs - Bass, Peter Burke - Drums. Some (or all?) of them continued under the name "Institute of Modern Love" and they went more "prog" and released a CD in 2011 ("Part I - Welcome to the Institute of Modern Love" - it's available as download! - Buy!). You also can find a rerecorded version of "burning houses" one the album - but not this song here! The "Institute" also stopped making music. It's a shame! So, enjoy this song and let's hope the guys will continue some day! ...and... what about that "promo-cd"... are there more songs in the vault? ;)

9:: Paul McCartney, "Something", Berlin 2016

10:: Iggy Pop in Berlin, after performing "Tonight"

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 10.05.2016 · 22:46:08 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· For the Bowiefans: Iggy Pop at the Tempodrom in Berlin, May 7th 2016. That's what he said after his wonderful Performance of the song "tonight" (of which I just recorded the beginning - and then stopped, because of being afraid that my battery would be empty at the end... - f*ck crappy batteries!) What a great show it was! Thank you, Iggy! (just the security was shit)

11:: Dandy Warhols: Every Day Should Be A Holiday, 2015 Berlin

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 17.03.2015 · 23:16:13 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Berlin, Postbahnhof, march 16th Unlucky Dandys had technical issues at the show, Lia's keyboard had to be replaced. See here, how Courtney and the audience made the best out of the situation! Here's a great version of "Every Day Should Be A Holiday"! (unfortunately not the complete song filmed).

12:: Geneva "Temporary Wings" (1997)

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 22.02.2015 · 20:28:55 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Lost gems from the past! Here is the underrated band “Geneva”! Another good band vanishing in the haze before achieving well deserved fame. They had a minor success with “Into the blue” - but here is “temporary wings”, also from their debut album “Further” (1997). Go and get it! One of the best albums of the nineties I think. Their second album “Weather Underground” is a masterpiece, too, but was not mainstream enough I guess… so unfortunately it also was their last one. The musicians of course continued making music in other bands… and the singer with that angel’s voice, Andrew Montgomery, just released a solo album "Ruled By Dreams". Check them out! They're worth it!

13:: Poems by Leonard Peltier

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 08.12.2014 · 01:24:27 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Members of the Berlin based LRP-Theater are reading poetry of the Native American activist Leonard Peltier from his book "Prison Writings". Imprisoned on much doubted charges since 39 years, the 70 years old at present enters an important phase of his legal struggle. As an artist, he addresses the same topic in his paintings and writings: the injustice suffered not only by himself but also by a lot of underprivileged members of his own people, to this day. While pertaining to a deep sense of artistic expression, his work is as direct and realistic as his environment and living conditions suggest. This year marks the preparations for a much regarded legal attempt to set him free. (please excuse the blurry focus of the movie - blame the autofocus and me, who did not dare to change camera settings after the recording had started) www.leonardpeltier.info www.living-room-productions.de

14:: Alabama Song, Nina + Eva-Maria Hagen + Marie Biermann, 2013 Berliner Ensemble

··· ··· ··· ··· Nina Hagen and Eva-Maria Hagen and Marie Biermann performing the "Alabama Song" (from "Mahagonny" by Brecht/Weill) at the Berliner Ensemble, Sept 15th 2013. Please also notice Harry Mayronne with the little Bert-Brecht-Doll. Picture is blurry, I was far away - but enjoy the music! :) [nasty comments about blurriness will be commented in an as nasty way :-p]

15:: Patti Smith "Ghost Dance" live Berlin 2012

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 12.07.2012 · 00:01:37 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· well, I like this song... ;) "ghost dance"... See and hear Patti Smith and Band at the Tempodrom in Berlin, July 11th 2012 (Sorry for shaky camera, but this time the shaky girl in front of me is to blame - lol ;-)) .
