Performed with MCV, Nsay ki la produced the song together with Dijay Kay. In this work, you would typically meet the Nsay ki la Sound. It is this approach of using traditional instruments, giving a natural vibe, and keeping the sound and feeling neatly close to what you would meet in a Church performance in Nso’. This, as simple as it looks, is somehow what gives the song an extra flare.
Recording this song, as is the case with other popular songs, is a way of safeguarding it for the future, and sharing with the world the rich musical culture of Cameroon and Africa. Perhaps, this would lead more Music Directors and Choristers to add to the repertoire of their files.

The performance exudes this assurance and gentleness. It is what to expect from The Virtual Chorale. The Afrosounds Cameroon style makes it also fitting for Communion, soft and pleasant, to evoke union with God, and meditation on Jesus coming into our hearts.
Nsay ki la initially wrote this as a song for a competition, and then later got it recorded. He produced it himself, and Dijay Kay handled the post-production.

The style is Njang, traditional/folk music of the grasslands of Cameroon. Performing it this way greatly enriches Cameroon Religious Music, as well as African religious music.

This song moves crowds all over the world, both in Catholic Churches and other Christian denominations. Even in circumstances of gladness and joy outside of liturgy, you will hear this song. It is fair to say that it is a Lamnso’ anthem of thanksgiving.
The verses or solo sections of the song are not standard. Usually in performance, a lead vocalist uses the same melody, but inserts the object or motive of thanksgiving, and then the chorus goes back to sing: “I have reflected on what God has done for me, and wondered what I can give Him. I see that it is good to give myself to Him as an offering”.
In the performance, the solo sections highlight the things God has done, the family and people he has blessed us with, the way he cares for us, the talents with which he has endowed us. This song is an invitation of Jesus to everyone to share of his body and blood. It gives the assurance of the graces of those who unite themselves fully with Jesus in the Eucharist with Jesus. It is another beautiful addition to the liturgical repertoire of religious music and liturgical music in Cameroon, and African in general.
The performance exudes this assurance and gentleness. It is what to expect from The Virtual Chorale. The Afrosounds Cameroon style makes it also fitting for Communion, soft and pleasant, to evoke union with God, and meditation on Jesus coming into our hearts.
Nsay ki la initially wrote this as a song for a competition, and then later got it recorded. He produced it himself, and Dijay Kay handled the post-production.

This song has a simplicity to it that makes it really beautiful. All five stanzas are the same except for the second lines. Those second lines highlight one aspect or the other which we present to God alongside the bread and wine for the sacrifice, our work, ourselves, and our praise.
The simple profundity of this song has been maintained in the manner in which Nsay ki la (Elvis Nsaikila) performed it in 2022. The style is Njang, traditional/folk music of the grasslands of Cameroon. Performing it this way greatly enriches Cameroon Religious Music, as well as African religious music.
The audio was mixed and digitally mastered by Dijay Kay.

This song is a celebration, a song of victory, even if the victory is yet to be fully realized in our lives. Little wonder then that the song comes in the Divine Office so often, as Vespers for some Sundays and for Solemnities.
The style used for this song is Njang, of the grasslands of Cameroon. It is done in such a natural way to be a sample for choirs learning to sing it, using drums, gongs, shakers, hollow and other traditional instruments common in Cameroon.
Composed since 21 July 2008, Nsay ki la only produced this song in 2020, performed with The Virtual Chorale. It was mixed and digitally mastered by Dijay Kay.

In an unexpected move, he suddenly surfaced in 2023 with a studio remake of the song, and made room for an open verse. @Nsaykila jumped on it, and did this verse as a motivation for all those struggling or almost giving up.
The instruments and vocals for the chorus are from Awu himself. The open verse is mixed and mastered by Marc Eff of Kovapot @marceffofkovapot
