··· ··· ··· ··· Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen Jesus is the alpha and the omega, who always was and always will be. When God stated, "Let US make man in OUR image," to whom was he referring? He was referring to Himself, that is, the Trinity: the Son and the Spirit, who existed with Him before time and creation. So in John 1.1, "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word with with God, and the Word WAS God," he means Jesus. Jesus is the Word, the Gospel, the Good News, the Kerygma, who incarnates through the Blessed Virgin Vessel to be sacrificed for the sins of mankind. He confirms this in the Scripture at John 8.58: "Before Abraham was, I am."

··· ··· ··· ··· St. Augustine asserted the angels were the FIRST to be created by God on Day 1. Le there be Light and there was Light, or the Angels. One third rejected God out of pride, the highest ranking being Lucifer, and they--the dark--were separated from the Light, i.e., cast from Heaven. This differentiates from the creation of the sun, the moon, and the stars, which were all created on Day 4. St. Thomas Aquinas and many other Church Fathers subscribe to this assertion. Sources and scripture (Douay Rheims): "City of God," St. Augustine, 11.9 & 19.11 Genesis 1 Psalms 148 Colossians 1 Sirach 18.1

··· ··· ··· ··· "Among the many and varied accounts of the fourth-century bishop Blaise, his role as a healer and his miraculous intercession--particularly for ailments of the throat--is commonly included. He has been invoked in the Church on behalf of the sick since at least the eighth century, and the observance of his feast is a wonderful opportunity for instruction on the role of sacramentals in the [Catholic] life, as unique graces are dispensed on particular liturgical days that are not otherwise available." -Benedictus. ··· ··· ··· ··· "Today the liturgy has a candle procession in order that we may accompany Mary on her pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In the temple, we shall find the blessed Simeon waiting to receive the holy Child from [her] arms.... By the lighted candles we carry in our hands, we acknowledge the arrival of the true Light of the world, Jesus Christ. By means of the symbol of light, we carry Christ in our hands today with deep reverence." --Benedictus, Sophia Institute Press, vol. 4, no. 2, p.45. Contrary to modern (commercial) beliefs, Christmas season actually begins on the day of the birth of Christ--December 25--and ends today, February 2, which is why a Candlemas is celebrated. For traditional Catholics, the decorations remain up and celebrations continue until today, and we begin preparing for Lent. Benedictus Deus in saecula.

··· ··· ··· ··· The traditional feast day for St. Ignatius of Antioch is February 1. The modernists changed it to October 17 for whatever reason. CLEAR Ministries remains true to the traditional liturgy, calendar, and TLM. St. Ignatius was Bishop for over 40 years before Cesar (via Trajan, according to tradition) attempted to lure Ignatius to abandon the Catholic faith and worship pagan idols and demons. His refusal lead to a death sentence of being thrown to the beasts in Rome where larger crowds gathered. Ignatius wrote to Catholics around the world during his passage to Rome pleading with the faithful to remain steadfast in their beliefs in the One, True, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. His death is estimated to have been in or around 107 A.D. https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/library/seven-epistles-of-st-ignatius-of-antioch-20957 https://www.newadvent.org/cathen/03449a.htm https://www.thecollector.com/who-was-saint-ignatius-of-antioch/

··· ··· ··· ··· The phrase "Do what thy wilt" derives from originally from the King James interpretation of Ecclesiasticus 32:12 (also known by Catholics as the Book of Sirach), and is followed by "But sin not by proud speech." It is later attributed to St. Augustine in "Confessions," when he expresses to God his desire to be God's instrument to be directed by God's will. By the time of the Renaissance, Francois Rabelais (a Catholic priest) incorporated the phrase in his satirical work "Gargantua and Pantagruel," wherein it meant exactly how it sounds: live as you wish. This was swiped by Aleister Crowley in the early 1900s and adopted into his esoteric witchcraft and sex magic practices as the mantra of his Thelema order (formerly the Golden Dawn and OTO occult groups). Crowley and Thelema made their way into Western Pop culture, as is indicated by his picture on famous album covers, his name mentioned in lyrics, and a rock star buying his mansion. Finally, some of his dogma was borrowed by Anton LeVey who founded the Church of Satan. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Ecclesiasticus-32-12/ https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Apocrypha-Books/ https://archive.org/details/TheKingJamesVersionDefended/page/n77/mode/2up?view=theater&q=luther https://www.gutenberg.org/files/3296/3296-h/3296-h.htm Gargantua and Pantagruel | work by Rabelais | Britannica https://www.gutenberg.org/files/1200/1200-h/1200-h.htm#link2HCH0016 https://brill.com/edcollbook/title/13064

12:: Should We Hail Mary?

··· ··· ··· ··· In Luke 1, the Archangel Gabriel humbles himself before the Blessed Virgin, stating, "Hail, [Mary], full of grace, the Lord is with thee." This is known as the Annunciation because God sent Gabriel to advise Mary she would be the vessel in which the Word would incarnate. Blessed Mary, now pregnant with the Son of the Living God, visits Elizabeth (who was pregnant with John the Baptist). This is known as the Visitation where Elizabeth proclaims to Mary, "Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb [Jesus]." Elizabeth then humbly asked how she could be worthy to be in the presence of the Mother of God. The above sets the first half of the Hail Mary prayer. The remainder simply asks Mary to pray for us. Ask the Blessed Mother for her prayers!

··· ··· ··· ··· When corporations pander to the those sects comprising less than 1% of the population, they in essence abandon the rest. And they do so at their own peril. If consumers knew the power the hold literally in their hands, companies would start to rethink their bottom lines rather than their social credit scores. See the world for what it is. Seek discernment. Better to be in the Word than in the world. Love. Repent. And seek God's heart.

15:: Sola Scriptura - Which version? Example - Matt 17 21 missing or corrupted.

··· ··· ··· ··· How can Protestants subscribe to Sola Scriptura when there are multiple variations of scripture throughout the different recensions of the bibles? This video compares the Douay-Rheims to KJV, ESV, ASV, NIV, and the new Catholic bible translation with regard to Matt. 17.21 (which is either omitted or annotated in most) and Mk. 9.29 (also annotated in most). How can someone be "Bible-Only" when many have so many differences? Which is the best, most reliable bible to use? Should the Early Church doctors be incorporated into faith study?

16:: The Our Father (or Paternoster): Where it came from and how it was originally used.

··· ··· ··· ··· In Luke 11, the Apostles asked Jesus to teach them to pray as John the Baptist taught his own apostles to pray. Jesus then provided them with (most of) the Paternoster prayer. In Late Antiquity and into the Medieval Era, monks were praying all 150 Psalms in Latin; however, for those who were illiterate (both monks and laity), the Paternoster recited 150 times was allowed for substitution. Eventually, the Ave Maria (Hail Mary) replaced it which became the Marian Psalter. Finally, after the Holy Mother appeared to St. Dominic, the Paternoster was brought back to the Psalter and inserted between each of the 10 Ave Marias to create the decades, all of which were assigned Mysteries on which to meditate during recitation. ··· ··· ··· ··· The first recorded Holy Cross ever erected in the continental US was in 1559 by the Dominican Friars, when the Spanish expedition landed on Santa Rosa Island on August 15th. The first order of business was the Latin Mass. Santa Rosa, FL, or "Saint Rose," is officially the first noncontinuous settlement in the US. This Holy Cross was erected by the Knights of Columbus (de Luna Assembly) in 1959 on a dune which has withstood the test of time and elements, while the surrounding dunes have been swept away. Benedictus Deus in saecula.
