The credit for the invention of the Espresso Martini, a delectably smooth cocktail, is attributed to the esteemed British bartender Dick Bradsell. Renowned for his pioneering contributions to London's cocktail scene in the 1980s, particularly at establishments like The Player, 6 Degrees, and Match, Bradsell also introduced other modern classics such as the Bramble.
Legend has it that Bradsell concocted the drink, initially named The Vodka Espresso and later the Pharmaceutical Stimulant, at Fred’s Club in the late 1980s. According to his account, a young model, now purportedly a global icon, approached the bar and requested a beverage to both awaken and invigorate her. Bradsell's innovative solution combined vodka, freshly brewed espresso, coffee liqueur, and sugar, resulting in a frothy fusion of bittersweet indulgence.
Today, the Espresso Martini has achieved global acclaim as a timeless classic. While numerous claims to its invention have surfaced, the consensus remains that it was indeed Dick Bradsell who first crafted this iconic libation.

1) Choose your wine carefully.
Use an affordable bottle of Merlot, Zinfandel or Garnacha. You’ll find more wine details in the ingredients section below.
2) Heat gently.
Resist the urge to crank up the heat on your mulled wine! If your wine is steaming, it’s hot enough. Wine is delicate. Heat it too long or too high, and eventually your wine will taste too spicy, syrupy and almost raisin-like, and the alcohol will evaporate over time.
3) Go easy on the spices.

I tried many combinations with Jäegermeister but this one hit me harder. Do try when you get a chance and let me know In comments. I have mixed MONSTER ULTRA but you can try with normal classic monster it’ll taste great. Don’t try if you don’t like the flavour of sambuca because you’ll be taking 2 strong flavours at once so it’s like intense flavour bomb and kick.
