I recently purchased this wheel for my PS5 and PS4, but it's also compatible with the PS3, so naturally we'll test how this modern steering wheel works with the 18 years old consoles. The game of our choice will be Gran Turismo 6, but before we do that lets do a quick unboxing on the G29. Since i don't plan on using the wheel that often i decided to buy a pre- owned unit, and i managed to get this one for half the price of only 140 Euros. The previous owner got it as a gift, but wasn't really into sim racing so he decided to sell it.

The game was praised for its new gameplay mechanics, level of player freedom, open world design, visual fidelity, and cast performances. No matter how high your expectations are Meteal Gear Solid 5 sets a new standard for open-world interaction and world building. On the good old PS3 the game runs suprisingly good- despite the abundane of alpha effects and the huge draw distances. We get 30FPS for the most parts, with some ocasional FPS drops, which is understandable, considering the hardware limitation.

It was a very ambitious project in terms of artistic vision, visuals and attention to details. The first proper reveal of Killzone 2 in 2007s E3 exceeded everyone's expectations and The game looked absolutely impressive. The final game released in 2009 proved to be something we've never seen on the PS3 at that time- especially from a technology perspective. It showed what the newly released PS3 console was really capable of. Killzone 2 featured large environments with a visual focus on post-processing, dynamic lighting and alpha effects, it runs at 720p at what appears to pretty stable 30FPS for the most parts.

I recently purchased this wheel for my PS5 and PS4, but it's also compatible with the PS3, so naturally we'll test how this modern steering wheel works with the 18 years old consoles. The game of our choice will be Gran Turismo 6, but before we do that lets do a quick unboxing on the G29. Since i don't plan on using the wheel that often i decided to buy a pre- owned unit, and i managed to get this one for half the price of only 140 Euros. The previous owner got it as a gift, but wasn't really into sim racing so he decided to sell it.

Now the original version of God Of War 3 on the PS3 was often compared to Uncharted 2 as technical achievement showcasing the console capabilities. Fast forward several years later the Remaster was released bringing an impressive performance. On the PS5 we're offered a rock solid performance of 60 frames per second. On top of the performance boost the other main improvement with the remaster is the jump to native 1080p over the standard 720p found in the original PS3 release. The leap to 1080p unlocks higher quality assets and extra level of sharpness which is a welcome improvement.

And Let's dive in and see if this monitor can deliver a budget-friendly gaming experience!
The Pixio PXC277 boasts a 27 Inch Curved Fast VA Panel. We are working with a 2560x1440 max resolution, 165hz refresh rate, impressive GTG response time of 1ms and 320 nits max brightness. Now unlike IPS panels Fast VA panels achieve much higher contrast. Their main advantage is that they produce deeper black tones and more detail in shadows, so there is less loss of information than with IPS panels. The monitor boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth and fluid motion during gameplay and media content consumption. The title was released worldwide in 2014 to a critical acclaim with critics praising its exploration gameplay, combat, visuals, and compelling story. Dragon Age Inquisition has a semi-open world design and uses the Frostbite 3, the same game engine previously used to power the Battlefield games. However the developers had to update the engine extensively to incorporate features such as stats, game saving, conversations, and cutscenes, all of which are elements commonly found in a role-playing video game. And as aresult Borderlands 2 was the sequel everyone was hoping for. The game offers a much larger, much more refined version of the original. We have a more detailed storyline and thanks to the procedurally generated loot system we have numerous variations of gear, weapons and equipment to enjoy. You can either get lost in some of the hundreds side missions, or you can keep it simple by sticking to the main story, Borderlands offers tons of possibilities. However since this is a Mini PC we aren't getting any external GPU. We are relying solely on the Intel Iris XE integrated graphics which actually offers very good performance even in more demanding open world games such as GTA 5.
We'll be testing the game with all graphics settings set to normal in 1080p resolution and you'll be surprised how well this tiny little PC performs.

For this next episode, we'll be checking out the visuals and performance of Marvels Spider Man Remastered on the Acer Nitro 5. The Remaster offers a dramatically enhanced visual experience and a variety of graphics quality options to suite a wide range of devices. We got Ray-traced reflections and improved shadows and textures, unlocked framerates and support for other technologies including performance-boosting NVIDIA DLSS and image quality enhancing NVIDIA DLAA.
So i've selected the high graphics settings preset with Ray traced reflection, DLSS and DLAA enabled, and lets test how the game performs on the Acer Nitro 5.

The new season brings some pretty substantial changes. Most noticeably we now have a vast hidden jungle at the center of the map with multiple ruins and new points of interest to explore. As with the previous seasons we also have lots of cool new weapons like kinetic boomerang, thermal DMR each suited towards a different playstyle.
The whole update size is around 20GB for the Series S , not great but certainly not terrible.
