To our clergy, our parishioners, and everyone who has been with us along the way, we thank you for your support and encouragement. We thank you for listening and praying along with us. A special thank you to our families, without whom we would not have been able to dedicate our time and talent to this undertaking. My soul is thirsting for God, the God of my life; when can I enter and see the face of God? Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God. These things will I remember as I pour out my soul: how I would lead the rejoicing crowd into the house of God, amid cries of gladness and thanksgiving, the throng wild with joy. Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God. O send forth your light and your truth; let these be my guide. Let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God. And I will come to the altar of God, the God of my joy. My redeemer, I will thank you on the harp, O God, my God. Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God. I will praise you, Lord, you have rescued me and have not let my enemies rejoice over me. O Lord, you have raised my soul from the dead, restored me to life from those who sink into the grave. I will praise you, Lord, you have rescued me. Sing psalms to the Lord, you who love him, give thanks to his holy name. His anger lasts a moment; his favour all through life. At night there are tears, but joy comes with dawn. I will praise you, Lord, you have rescued me. The Lord listened and had pity. The Lord came to my help. Bless the Lord, my soul! Lord God, how great you are, clothed in majesty and glory, wrapped in light as in a robe! Send forth your spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth. You founded the earth on its base, to stand firm from age to age. You wrapped it with the ocean like a cloak: the waters stood higher than the mountains. Send forth your spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth. You make springs gush forth in the valleys; they flow in between the hills. On their banks dwell the birds of heaven; from the branches they sing their song. Send forth your spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth. From your dwelling you water the hills; earth drinks its fill of your gift. You make the grass grow for the cattle and the plants to serve man’s needs. Send forth your spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth. How many are your works, O Lord! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your riches. Bless the Lord, my soul! Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. In the face of all my foes I am a reproach, an object of scorn to my neighbours and of fear to my friends. Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. Those who see me in the street run far away from me. I am like a dead man, forgotten in men’s hearts, like a thing thrown away. Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. But as for me, I trust in you, Lord; I say: ‘You are my God. My life is in your hands, deliver me from the hands of those who hate me. Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. Let your face shine on your servant. Save me in your love.’ Be strong, let your heart take courage, all who hope in the Lord. Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. Gal 6: 14 We should glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom is our salvation, life and resurrection, through whom we are saved and delivered. Responsorial Psalm 115(116):12-13,15-18 The blessing-cup that we bless is a communion with the blood of Christ. How can I repay the Lord for his goodness to me? The cup of salvation I will raise; I will call on the Lord’s name. The blessing-cup that we bless is a communion with the blood of Christ. O precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his faithful. Your servant, Lord, your servant am I; you have loosened my bonds. The blessing-cup that we bless is a communion with the blood of Christ. A thanksgiving sacrifice I make; I will call on the Lord’s name. My vows to the Lord I will fulfil before all his people. Jn 12: 1, 12-13; Ps 23: 9-10 Six days before the Passover, when the Lord came into the city of Jerusalem, the children ran to meet him; in their hands they carried palm branches and with a loud voice cried out: Hosanna in the highest! Blessed are you, who have come in your abundant mercy! O gates, lift high your heads; grow higher, ancient doors. Let him enter, the king of glory! Who is this king of glory? He, the Lord of hosts, he is the king of glory. Hosanna in the highest! Blessed are you, who have come in your abundant mercy! Responsorial Psalm 21(22):8-9,17-20,23-24 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? All who see me deride me. They curl their lips, they toss their heads. ‘He trusted in the Lord, let him save him; let him release him if this is his friend.’ My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Many dogs have surrounded me, a band of the wicked beset me. They tear holes in my hands and my feet I can count every one of my bones. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? They divide my clothing among them. They cast lots for my robe. O Lord, do not leave me alone, my strength, make haste to help me! My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? I will tell of your name to my brethren and praise you where they are assembled. ‘You who fear the Lord give him praise; all sons of Jacob, give him glory. Revere him, Israel’s sons. To our clergy, our parishioners, and everyone who has been with us along the way, we thank you for your support and encouragement. We thank you for listening and praying along with us. A special thank you to our families, without whom we would not have been able to dedicate our time and talent to this undertaking. We pray that you will continue to sing along with these psalms, to the glory of God, our Heavenly Father. The Choir of Our Lady of the Rosary, Verdun, St. John, Barbados.  We wish you a Blessed and Holy Easter.

3:: Holy Saturday, the Easter Vigil - Psalm 41(42):2-3,5,42:3-4 after the 7th Reading

01.01.1970 01:00:00 26.03.2024 22:00:06
Psalm 41(42):2-3,5,42:3-4 Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God. Psalm 18(19):8-11 You have the message of eternal life, O Lord. The law of the Lord is perfect, it revives the soul. The rule of the Lord is to be trusted, it gives wisdom to the simple. You have the message of eternal life, O Lord. The precepts of the Lord are right, they gladden the heart. The command of the Lord is clear, it gives light to the eyes. You have the message of eternal life, O Lord. The fear of the Lord is holy, abiding for ever. The decrees of the Lord are truth and all of them just. You have the message of eternal life, O Lord. They are more to be desired than gold, than the purest of gold and sweeter are they than honey, than honey from the comb. You have the message of eternal life, O Lord. 01.01.1970 01:00:00 25.03.2024 19:00:04
Psalm 29(30):2,4-6,11-13 I will praise you, Lord, you have rescued me. For me you have changed my mourning into dancing: O Lord my God, I will thank you for ever. I will praise you, Lord, you have rescued me. The English translation of Psalm Responses from Lectionary for Mass © 1969, 1981, 1997, International Commission on English in the Liturgy Corporation. Canticle Exodus 15 Hymn of victory after crossing the Red Sea I will sing to the Lord, glorious his triumph! I will sing to the Lord, glorious his triumph! Horse and rider he has thrown into the sea! The Lord is my strength, my song, my salvation. This is my God and I extol him, my father’s God and I give him praise. I will sing to the Lord, glorious his triumph! The Lord is a warrior! ‘The Lord’ is his name. The chariots of Pharaoh he hurled into the sea, the flower of his army is drowned in the sea. The deeps hide them; they sank like a stone. I will sing to the Lord, glorious his triumph! Your right hand, Lord, glorious in its power, your right hand, Lord, has shattered the enemy. In the greatness of your glory you crushed the foe. I will sing to the Lord, glorious his triumph! You will lead your people and plant them on your mountain, the place, O Lord, where you have made your home, the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have made. The Lord will reign for ever and ever. I will sing to the Lord, glorious his triumph! The English translation of Psalm Responses from Lectionary for Mass © 1969, 1981, 1997, International Commission on English in the Liturgy Corporation. Psalm 15(16):5,8-11 Preserve me, God, I take refuge in you. O Lord, it is you who are my portion and cup; it is you yourself who are my prize. I keep the Lord ever in my sight: since he is at my right hand, I shall stand firm. Preserve me, God, I take refuge in you. And so my heart rejoices, my soul is glad; even my body shall rest in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead, nor let your beloved know decay. Preserve me, God, I take refuge in you. You will show me the path of life, the fullness of joy in your presence, at your right hand happiness for ever. Preserve me, God, I take refuge in you. 9:: Holy Saturday, the Easter Vigil - Psalm 103(104):1-2,5-6,10,12-14,24,35 after the 1st Reading

01.01.1970 01:00:00 23.03.2024 22:00:13
Psalm 103(104):1-2,5-6,10,12-14,24,35 Send forth your spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth. Send forth your spirit, O Lord, and renew the face of the earth. 10:: Psalm 30(31):2,6,12-13,15-17,25 for Good Friday 2024 - Father, Into Your Hands I Commend My Spirit

01.01.1970 01:00:00 22.03.2024 22:00:12
Responsorial Psalm 30(31):2,6,12-13,15-17,25 Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. In you, O Lord, I take refuge. Let me never be put to shame. In your justice, set me free, Into your hands I commend my spirit. It is you who will redeem me, Lord. 01.01.1970 01:00:00 17.03.2024 22:00:30
Cf. 01.01.1970 01:00:00 03.03.2024 22:00:10
Entrance Antiphon Cf. Is 66: 10-11 Rejoice, Jerusalem, and all who love her. Be joyful, all who were in mourning; exult and be satisfied at her consoling breast. Responsorial Psalm 136(137):1-6 O let my tongue cleave to my mouth if I remember you not! By the rivers of Babylon there we sat and wept, remembering Zion; on the poplars that grew there we hung up our harps. O let my tongue cleave to my mouth if I remember you not! For it was there that they asked us, our captors, for songs, our oppressors, for joy. ‘Sing to us,’ they said, ‘one of Zion’s songs.’ O let my tongue cleave to my mouth if I remember you not! O how could we sing the song of the Lord on alien soil? If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand wither! O let my tongue cleave to my mouth if I remember you not! O let my tongue cleave to my mouth if I remember you not, if I prize not Jerusalem above all my joys! O let my tongue cleave to my mouth if I remember you not! Responsorial Psalm 68(69):8-10,14,17,33-35 In your great love, answer me, O Lord. It is for you that I suffer taunts, that shame covers my face, that I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my own mother’s sons. I burn with zeal for your house and taunts against you fall on me. In your great love, answer me, O Lord. This is my prayer to you, my prayer for your favour. In your great love, answer me, O God, with your help that never fails: Lord, answer, for your love is kind; in your compassion, turn towards me. In your great love, answer me, O Lord. Cry out with joy to God, all the earth. ‘Before you all the earth shall bow; shall sing to you, sing to your name!’ Come and see the works of God, tremendous his deeds among men. Cry out with joy to God, all the earth. He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the river dry-shod. Let our joy then be in him; he rules for ever by his might. Cry out with joy to God, all the earth. Come and hear, all who fear God. I will tell what he did for my soul: Blessed be God who did not reject my prayer nor withhold his love from me. 30:: Psalm 22(23) for the 4th Sun in Easter, Yr A - The Lord Is My Shepherd:There Is Nothing I Shall Want

01.01.1970 01:00:00 23.04.2023 22:00:02
Cf. Ps 32: 5-6 The merciful love of the Lord fills the earth; by the word of the Lord the heavens were made, alleluia. Responsorial Psalm 22(23) The Lord is my shepherd: there is nothing I shall want. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. Fresh and green are the pastures where he gives me repose. Near restful waters he leads me, to revive my drooping spirit. The Lord is my shepherd: there is nothing I shall want. He guides me along the right path; he is true to his name. If I should walk in the valley of darkness no evil would I fear. You are there with your crook and your staff; with these you give me comfort. The Lord is my shepherd: there is nothing I shall want. You have prepared a banquet for me in the sight of my foes. My head you have anointed with oil; my cup is overflowing. The Lord is my shepherd: there is nothing I shall want. Surely goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life. In the Lord’s own house shall I dwell for ever and ever. The Lord is my shepherd: there is nothing I shall want.
