Here's my current, yet ever-evolving list of stuff I need to amend/upgrade/eliminate:
-Better, more even lighting.
-Eliminate the camera shake on the game board camera.
-Sharper focus on the board camera.
-Improved graphical additions (ex: less shitty-looking Card Box overlay)
-Greenscreen background so we look like we are in a much cooler house.
-Better participant "on-camera" awareness, i.e. not constantly talking over everyone else, keeping game-related elements in-camera, etc.

Marvel at the exploits of a fat cleric (that smells of onion rolls) getting into raucous fist-fights with half the NPCs he meets. Share in the fun of the shining paragon of manly fighter-ness (no paladins in Basic) who, thankfully, doesn't make it past the first ep. Wonder at the mysterious thief who wanted to be a Halfling but had to jettison that idea when he read that Gygax wouldn't let Halflings be Thieves.

With a 8.4 of 10 rating on BoardGameGeek, it was a very well-received game. The NerdRagnarok gang got our Fremen on for our latest BoardGame Night.
Matt's there (that's me), along with our Game Master, Rob, playing along with sister Jen and her hubby, Nick...although we do have a mid-game sub-in in the video: new participant Riley!!!! (my niece / Jen & Nick's daughter)

13:: LONDON DREAD: BOARDGAME NIGHT Trial Run Through #2

This one, also, is getting called a trial run-through. I improved a lot of the issues of my first session, although we hit one snag: we didn't actually get to playing the game.
This might sound like a silly excuse to avid boardgamers, but it was just too damn complicated of a game. I need to do a better job of finding a happy place somewhere between the simplicity of KING of TOKYO, and the complexity of this game, LONDON DREAD.
So, there's your disclaimer: this is a boardgame video with little-to-no boardgaming. But still, we drink, we make with the jokes. Good times were had.

This video is a Trial Run...in other words, a very rough 'rough draft.' There's quite a bit to improve on before the next session, but the important thing is I learned a lot about what I need to do. Also, friendship. Friendship is always important, and super-special.
Bonus for watching this video: you get to meet my doofus family! Rob--who you'll already know from all the Bro-Chat & Watch Party videos--along with my sister Jennifer and her husband Nick. Also, off-camera, we have their son Liam acting as Roadie/Sound-Boy.

Here's my current, yet ever-evolving list of stuff I need to amend/upgrade/eliminate:
-Better, more even lighting.
-Eliminate the camera shake on the game board camera.
-Sharper focus on the board camera.
-Improved graphical additions (ex: less shitty-looking Card Box overlay)
-Greenscreen background so we look like we are in a much cooler house.
-Better participant "on-camera" awareness, i.e. not constantly talking over everyone else, keeping game-related elements in-camera, etc.
