Many know the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, they believe in it and are saved but lack that depth of understanding that keeps one in faith continually in the face of adversities. Matt 13:20-22
Yet many do not even know what the gospel or salvation means or requires and therefore their Christianity is a mix of superstition, satanic bondage and psychological or religious placebo.
The Corinthian were believers who after receiving the gospel, began to lose hope and could no longer stand firm in faith as a result of things happening around them. This happened because they lack deep understanding of the gospel they received. Therefore, there was need for Apostle Paul to declare again the fundamental truth of the gospel again in order for them to stand. Sometimes we need to preach the gospel of repentance and faith towards God again to people who are finding it difficult to understand the nature of the salvation revealed by the gospel. media:description>Human being’s praise can only be accepted by God when it is through a sanctified heart. Man as a person is composed of three things: body, soul, and spirit. The three are used interchangeably. The flesh, which is also the body, serves as the container that carries the soul and spirit; and the three relate to one another. It is the body that relates to the soul, and the soul to the spirit, the spirit relates to God. When God breathed into the nostrils of man, God gave him life and made him a living soul; the spirit now gives understanding to man (Gen 2: 7; Job 32: 8).
Consequently, for the sacrificial praise of man to be accepted always, every moment of our lives has to be sanctified (I Thess. 4: 23 -24). Paul in Philippians 1: 20, says, “According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death”.
Now, we have to examine this topic under these three ways:
I. SACRIFICIAL PRAISE MUST BE WITH A SANCTIFIED BODY (Ps 116: 17; I Thess 5: 23 – 24).
The body is either used as an instrument for God or for Satan.
A. The body as an instrument for God (Rom 2: 1 – 2; I Cor 6: 20; Gal 2: 20)
B. The body as an instrument for Satan (I Cor 6: 8 – 9, 15 – 19; Luke 22: 3). When Satan enters a man, the heart will become corrupt and hardened.
II. SACRIFICIAL PRAISE MUST BE WITH A SANCTIFIED SOUL (Ps 116:17; I Thess 5: 23–24).
A. The soul as instrument for Satan through defilement (Matthew 15: 17 – 20; Jer 17: 9; I Tim 1: 10).
B. The soul as instrument for God through righteousness (Ps 24: 3 – 4, 15: 1 – 4; Deut. 6: 4 – 5).
III. SACRIFICIAL PRAISE MUST BE WITH A SANCTIFIED SPIRIT (Ps 116:17; I Thess 5:23–24).
A. A sanctified spirit lives in truth (John 4: 22 – 24; Act 24: 16; I Tim 2: 8; Ps 134: 2)
B. Unsanctified spirit lives in lies (John 8: 44; John 15: 8 – 9; Isaiah 29: 13; Ezek. 33: 31 – 32).
Conclusion
There is no one who can worship God rightly when he cannot live in truth. It is only when we are living by the spirit of God, in truth, we can worship rightly./media:description>

Yet many do not even know what the gospel or salvation means or requires and therefore their Christianity is a mix of superstition, satanic bondage and psychological or religious placebo.
The Corinthian were believers who after receiving the gospel, began to lose hope and could no longer stand firm in faith as a result of things happening around them. This happened because they lack deep understanding of the gospel they received. Therefore, there was need for Apostle Paul to declare again the fundamental truth of the gospel again in order for them to stand. Sometimes we need to preach the gospel of repentance and faith towards God again to people who are finding it difficult to understand the nature of the salvation revealed by the gospel. 01.01.1970 01:00:00 12.02.2024 10:21:04 Human being’s praise can only be accepted by God when it is through a sanctified heart. Man as a person is composed of three things: body, soul, and spirit. The three are used interchangeably. The flesh, which is also the body, serves as the container that carries the soul and spirit; and the three relate to one another. It is the body that relates to the soul, and the soul to the spirit, the spirit relates to God. When God breathed into the nostrils of man, God gave him life and made him a living soul; the spirit now gives understanding to man (Gen 2: 7; Job 32: 8).
Consequently, for the sacrificial praise of man to be accepted always, every moment of our lives has to be sanctified (I Thess. 4: 23 -24). Paul in Philippians 1: 20, says, “According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death”.
Now, we have to examine this topic under these three ways:
I. SACRIFICIAL PRAISE MUST BE WITH A SANCTIFIED BODY (Ps 116: 17; I Thess 5: 23 – 24).
The body is either used as an instrument for God or for Satan.
A. The body as an instrument for God (Rom 2: 1 – 2; I Cor 6: 20; Gal 2: 20)
B. The body as an instrument for Satan (I Cor 6: 8 – 9, 15 – 19; Luke 22: 3). When Satan enters a man, the heart will become corrupt and hardened.
II. SACRIFICIAL PRAISE MUST BE WITH A SANCTIFIED SOUL (Ps 116:17; I Thess 5: 23–24).
A. The soul as instrument for Satan through defilement (Matthew 15: 17 – 20; Jer 17: 9; I Tim 1: 10).
B. The soul as instrument for God through righteousness (Ps 24: 3 – 4, 15: 1 – 4; Deut. 6: 4 – 5).
III. SACRIFICIAL PRAISE MUST BE WITH A SANCTIFIED SPIRIT (Ps 116:17; I Thess 5:23–24).
A. A sanctified spirit lives in truth (John 4: 22 – 24; Act 24: 16; I Tim 2: 8; Ps 134: 2)
B. Unsanctified spirit lives in lies (John 8: 44; John 15: 8 – 9; Isaiah 29: 13; Ezek. 33: 31 – 32).
Conclusion
There is no one who can worship God rightly when he cannot live in truth. It is only when we are living by the spirit of God, in truth, we can worship rightly.
