I recorded this sooo long ago but I'm just now getting back into the swing of things. I know it's just the season we're in right now but October has been so hard for me mentally. Has eclipse season been hard for anyone else? I'm purging a lot of old emotions and its tiring tbh. At first I was a bit resistant to the feelings that have been coming up but I'm remembering I don't have to engage with every single thought.
I haven't been feeling like doing much especially since I started a new job (chile, long story) but I'm taking it one day at a time and becoming okay with change taking time, slowing down listening to my body (and not feeling guilty about it!) and not going for everything all at once.
I'm getting back to it, deff need more meditation to quiet the thoughts.

It's starting to feel like the start of a great summer! I’m done with the shadow work! I finally feel like I have my head above water and I'm able to sit in healed heart chakra energy. I had to reevaluate what healed looked like for me. What's the "right" thing to do vs. the "healed" thing to do. Acknowledging the pain of the past and moving accordingly. Letting go of everything I thought I knew and embracing everything I learned during hermit mode. I'm ready to be outsideeee! I'm ready to party and shake my asssss! I'm so sad about Sherlocc thinning out at the bottom...but I'm pretty sure I know what happened. When I 1st started Sherlocc I didn't know what I was doing. I used a lot of thick gels and edge controls to retwist and I didn't wash it out of the loc properly so that part of the loc dried out and got really brittle, heavy and gunked up so the end broke off and when it broke a lot of hair shedded so I'm pretty sure that's why he's thin at the end. :(

🫣 ...hey yall...
I recorded this sooo long ago but I'm just now getting back into the swing of things. I know it's just the season we're in right now but October has been so hard for me mentally. Has eclipse season been hard for anyone else? I'm purging a lot of old emotions and its tiring tbh. At first I was a bit resistant to the feelings that have been coming up but I'm remembering I don't have to engage with every single thought.
I haven't been feeling like doing much especially since I started a new job (chile, long story) but I'm taking it one day at a time and becoming okay with change taking time, slowing down listening to my body (and not feeling guilty about it!) and not going for everything all at once.
I'm getting back to it, deff need more meditation to quiet the thoughts.
