Christine Zierl erblickt am 12. Juli 1962 als Christina Giannakopoulos in MĂŒnchen das Licht der Welt. Bereits im Kindesalter weiĂ sie genau, was sie will: in der Ăffentlichkeit stehen. Schon kurz nach ihrem Abschluss kann sie die ersten Jobs als Schauspielerin auf ihren Steckbrief schreiben. Der Produzent Karl Spiehs entdeckt Christine und ermöglicht ihr Rollen in Komödien, wie beispielsweise "Cola, Candy, Chocolate".
Ihren Durchbruch erlebt sie jedoch, als sie auf den Kultregisseur Klaus Lemke trifft. Unter dem neuen Namen "Dolly Dollar" wird sie zur Sexikone der 1980er Jahre. Sie spielt in Filmen wie "Arabische NÀchte" oder "Flitterwochen" mit und wird zum bekannten Busenwunder. Aber damit nicht genug. Christine Zierl will nicht nur Schauspielerin sein, sie probiert es auch als SÀngerin. Zu Beginn der 1980er veröffentlicht sie die LPs "Come a bit closer" und "I mog koa Bier".
SpĂ€ter wendet sie sich jedoch von diesem Image ab. 1988 heiratet sie den Schauspieler Helmut Zierl, dessen Nachnamen sie annimmt.
