··· ··· ··· ··· Since 1995, onshore wind energy has been an important and major industry in Germany. In 1995, the total onshore wind installed capacity was 1,530 MW. By 2018, onshore wind power installed capacity reached over 88 GW, which allows Germany to power about a fifth of the country from wind. Larger onshore installations are in the works, which could possibly see a larger percentage of wind energy powering Germany. Germany is also notable for having some major wind turbine manufacturers based there, such as Enercon in Aurich, Senvion in Hamburg, and Nordex in Rostock. Since 2011, Germany's federal government has been working on a new plan for increasing renewable energy commercialization, with a particular focus on offshore wind farms. In 2016, Germany decided to replace feed-in tariffs with auctions from 2017, citing the mature nature of the windpower market being best served in this way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Music: Andrew Langdon - Loop-Caught ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Location: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Wachau/@51.1576553,13.9194804,1471m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x4709ca9559d346d7:0x421b1cb42891ff0!2sWachau!3b1!8m2!3d51.1600764!4d13.9035416!3m4!1s0x4709ca9559d346d7:0x421b1cb42891ff0!8m2!3d51.16007!4d13.9035532?hl=de

··· ··· ··· ··· Don't forget to switch on subtitles! In this video: - veeeery lazy day - having a rest in RV - short overview of RV interior - interesting birds outside - big shells ----------------------------------------------- It was first place we found where we could park our RV for free and without limint: along the Tamiami Trail road near canal. When we were looking for a place to sleep, we no longer sought convenience: just to stop somewhere. In the morning the sun was very bright and in order not to heat the motorhome from the inside to a crazy temperature, we closed the windows with the curtains that came with the kit. We saw an interesting heron here, we have not seen such before. The motorhome is quite spacious, so you can walk in it. Somewhere in the middle of the day we finally went out for a walk in the fresh air. Due to the fact that yesterday we drove until nightfall, coupled with a long flight, today we were very lazy and wallowed in the camper almost all day until sunset. To our surprise, the road was not too loud at night, so we managed to get a good night's sleep. By the middle of the day it got hot enough, so we needed to turn on the air conditioning to cool. To do this, we finally started the generator. Plus we could now turn on the microwave. Somewhere nearby there was a place where you could rent a catamaran and ride along the canal. After another hour, we finally went for a walk to the canal. We decided to inspect our RV exterior. Trunk is quite large, so it will fit a lot of suitcases. Naturally, we immediately decided to get into it ourselves. Capacity test passed: good trunk :-) Only at sunset we decided to go further. And we again faced the task of finding a place to sleep ... We decided to go towards the Florida Keys and on the way to look for a free place to sleep. We decided to stop in Windley Key near Islamorada Boat Charter and finally sleep. -----------------------------------------------

4:: Travel in Florida by RV. Day 1. Miami - Everglades

··· ··· ··· ··· Don't forget to switch on subtitles! In this video: - beautiful Florida nature - tiny lizards - rent a motorhome - attempts to find overnight parking during whole night - travel from Miami to Everglades ----------------------------------------------- Right after arrival to Miami we had a rest in a hotel not so far away from RV rent office. You are not allowed to rent RV right after long transatlantic flight because due to fatigue, your attention may be unconcentrated, leading to road accidents. Our rent started from afternoon so we had a time to look around and observe Florida nature. We was very impressed by a lot of big tropical plants, coconut palms and tiny lizards which can be found even on walking road! Miami is the city where you will find a lot of houses with one floor but having a big area. If you search Miami on Google maps, you will see a very beautiful picture. Every meter of the territory of this city and its surroundings is aligned. Most trees and plants here are planted by people. The reason is that Florida is a huge swampy area, where the trees can't grow. As people settled in Florida, people drained more marshes and planted tropical trees. Warning: walk under coconut palms with caution, heavy coconut can fall on you. After our walking we went to RV rent office by taxi. After arrival to the rent RV office first of all you are required to be trained on safety when driving a motorhome. After briefing and checking all documents, if everything is good, a special instructor will accompany you to your motor home, which will explain its structure and service rules. There are 4 beds, shower, toilet and kitchen in RV. You can accommodate here up to 7 people. If you previously drove only a car, then it will be quite difficult for you to quickly get used to the dimensions of the motorhome. In fact, the city of Miami itself is not the best place to travel by motorhome. Because there is very heavy traffic here, a lot of people and quite narrow streets. We were also very surprised by the weather in Florida. You can drive under the sun, after 5 minutes there will be a shower, and after another 5 minutes the sun will fall again. And so on several times a day. Driving on the Florida highways is a great pleasure, mainly due to the competent system of road signs. We travelled all day looking around the neighborhood and spent whole evening looking for a place to sleep. At first we were looking for quiet courtyards, but everywhere were private ownership. We decided to drive to Miami beach. We believed that it was ideal place to sleep near the ocean, among the tropical trees... But we did not expected that we wasn't able even to stop here for two minutes. Private territory everywhere, traffic jams and streets crowded by people and cars. In short, we didn't find here free overnight parking. In the end we freaked out and drove strictly to the west, straight in the swamps in a place called Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area. We drove for a long time along the canal and eventually went to bed right by the road in the sunrise. ----------------------------------------------- Music: 0:00 - Wayne Jones - Connection 2:00 - Twin Musicom - Actually, Like 4:17 - www.jukedeck.com - Soulful Spaces 5:58 - Dan Lebowitz - Birds in Flight 8:17 - Dan Lebowitz - Bring Me Your Sorrows

8:: Bahia Honda State Park (Calusa beach and Bahia Honda Rail Bridge), Big Pine Key, Florida (USA)

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 21.10.2018 · 18:10:29 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Bahia Honda is one of the many islands of the Florida Keys archipelago, a chain of coral islands and reefs in the southeastern United States. U.S. 1 (the Overseas Highway) crosses the key at approximately mile markers 36-38.5, between Ohio Key and Spanish Harbor Key 12 miles (19 km) west of Marathon, close to the west end of the Seven Mile Bridge. The island is virtually uninhabited, being home to the 524-acre (2.12 km2) Bahia Honda State Park. Founded in 1961, the park occupies most of the island. The channel at the island's west end is one of the deepest natural channels in the Florida Keys. The park is 212 hectares and offers 4 km of beautiful sandy beaches, including Calusa Beach on the Gulf of Mexico and Sandspur Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. With these two beaches, Bahia Honda State Park offers the most beautiful beaches in the entire Florida Keys. The beach or rather the view here is actually the highlight of the Bahia Honda State Park. In the shade of the large palm trees you enjoy the view of the beautiful white sand beach, the old railway bridge of the Flagler Oversea Railroad, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Bahia Honda Bridge of the Oversea Highway. The Overseas Railroad (also known as Florida Overseas Railroad, the Overseas Extension, and Flagler's Folly) was an extension of the Florida East Coast Railway to Key West, a city located 128 miles (204.8 km) beyond the end of the Florida peninsula. Work on the line started in 1905 and it operated from 1912 to 1935, when it was partially destroyed by the Labor Day Hurricane. In Bahia Honda State Park there are also changing facilities and sanitary facilities at Calusa Beach. The usual barbecue facilities for the USA are available as well.
