September 2022 Susan Merrick interacts with projections of the CWA collaboration group back in the UK, while artists in the gallery are invited to interact with her. Leading a collaborative project involves responsibilities that can be heavy, when she takes the load, the fragile tape, from the others in the group, she is then supported by the artists around her who help her with this task. ··· ··· ··· ··· Woven Stories In 2021, when lockdown relaxed, a group from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association joined a project where they walked in Bourne Woods, closely observing their surroundings. The results were turned into embroidery panels into which they poured their memories and emotions and showed their story of lockdown. "Woven Stories" for Conversations With Aldershot tells the story of the experience of some of the women. The walking group and tapestry work was created separately to the conversations with Aldershot project, but the group wanted to share their experiences with the project archive.
