7:: Cobb County Siren #40 Monthly Test 4-1-2015

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 01.04.2015 · 23:14:55 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· This was the required monthly test of Cobb County Siren #40, outside Sprayberry High School. This was filmed from an office across the street through glass, so it's not quite as loud as it might have been otherwise. It was about 220 ft away. The siren is a Whelen Vortex R4.

8:: Macintosh Plus with bad ROM counting down in binary

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 29.03.2015 · 00:37:58 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· I have had this Mac Plus with a bad ROM for awhile. Decided to plug it in to see if the CRT still worked and realized it was counting down in binary. Must have been some kind of test pattern

9:: Arduino Christmas tree v 2

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 06.11.2014 · 02:15:10 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Just a short demonstration of my Arduino-controlled Christmas tree lights. It's using an Ethernet shield to talk to the network, and a self-built relay to connect the lights to mains.

10:: Cobb County Siren #19 Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T Monthly Test 11/5/2014

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.11.2014 · 18:33:52 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· This is the one of probably three remaining active Thunderbolts left in Cobb County. It's had a broken rotator for several years now, but is still good and loud. I believe you can hear the clunk of the blower starting up just before the thing gets going, as well as after the wind down. Glad I got to experience this first-hand before it was too late. You can also hear the other sirens in the distance finishing up their run after the wind down. These are mostly Whelen Vortex R4s with one WPS 2910 not too far off.

11:: Lords of Conquest Intro Music DOS version

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.04.2014 · 02:43:15 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· This is the intro music to the DOS version of Lords of Conquest. Enjoy it in its PC Speaker glory. This is actually a pretty decent use of the PC Speaker by 1986 standards. This is pretty decently listenable music believe it or not. Don't mind the quality of the screen. It's mostly static.

12:: First Test Quadra 840AV video capture

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.04.2014 · 00:29:57 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Just a quick test of Quadra 840AV video capture. It's not quite high enough framerate to work, even if the quality itself might work as a retro thing.

13:: Gary Gilbertson - Atari Music - Face of the Galaxy Soundtrack

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 18.08.2013 · 03:22:04 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· This is part of the Advanced Music Processor soundtrack for a Sci-Fi RPG game that Gary Gilbertson and Philip Price were prototyping prior to developing Alternate Reality - The City. Mostly your typical sweeping orchestral themes, very Star Trekian.

14:: Gary Gilbertson - Atari Music - Say The Things

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 18.08.2013 · 01:53:28 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· This is one of the Advanced Music Processor songs written by Gary Gilbertson for the Atari 8-bit computer line. This is not one of his stronger songs, and ends rather morbidly, but it's a highlight into the history of the medium.

15:: A bit of semi-drunken Galaga

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.05.2013 · 04:17:03 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Playing some Galaga with a buddy. Neither of us are especially good at it but we have fun anyway

16:: Playing soccer with the dogs

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 20.09.2012 · 23:14:30 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ···
