I like this lesson much better than the past ones. We changed to using a chopstick so it would not get stuck in the letterboard. Mark did well once he got warmed up!

Glad to be finishing up this lesson because there were a lot of typos. I was just reflecting on our progress and realized that we are doing more sentences on a regular basis now. Just a short time ago, when I would have to do a sentence, I was SO nervous and now it is more natural...will keep plugging along!

They were on a low hanging branch and I but it off and it fell onto my tarp then, I kind of shook the bees off the branch and they started lining up to go into the box so I could take them home!

I am moving back to the single board, because it is SO much easier than using the 3 boards! My arm was getting tired. I am holding my arm up (versus putting it down on my lap) and giving very small prompts when needed. Cynthia explained keeping the hand up as similar to when you are teaching a child to ride a bike and you walk beside them with your arms out like "I will catch you if you start to fall"....you are not actually touching the bike and holding it up, just nearby with arms outstretched if needed...Mark was even smiling today during the lesson...this feels more right...working towards independence!
