How many other pages do they visit before they bounce off? So let's say 100 people go on your homepage. If 100 people go on your homepage and then 50 people decided to go on your about page or your contact page or any other page on your website, and the additional 50 don't, and they go on the homepage and leave immediately, that's your bounce rate. You have 50% bounce rate at that point. 1:10 First thing, you want to make sure that whatever page that you're on, there are three core rules that you have. You have that page correctly, the copy, the design, how does that resonate with the audience that you're going for? 1:30 Which goes in the second one, the audience. You want to make sure that the audience that you're driving to your specific type of content or website matches with what you have on there. 1:40 The third one that's important, if you want to make sure that all the content you create, it doesn't sound like everybody else. So you want to look different, you want to be unique in a specific way. 2:30 The second thing is paid traffic, social advertising, native advertising, any advertising type of traffic will always have a significantly higher bounce rate. 4:15 Those are the things that I'm sharing with you from our experience of what we deal with, how we do it to be able to measure bounce rate. And so, I think, let me tell you a story. The first mentor I ever had was when I was 17 or 18 years-old, around there, this is a long time ago, almost a decade. 1:30 I was paying attention, listening to his conversations and I remember one night when he started sharing more about his story when he was traveling for a business trip, he was telling more about his mindset. Like he thought about things, and I think that had a deep relation to me in the way that he started sharing from his real-world experience and what he applied. And that left a significant impression on me in business. 2:40 The other mentor I have is Jay Abraham, which is more publicly known. So, he's a marketing legend, business world legend, created 21.7 billion dollars of growth, mentors people like Tony Robbins, Daymond John. And the way I started that relationship with him was, I think, two years ago when I invested $ 25,000, and before then I'd studied a lot of his content. 4:10 He looks like the average guy that's walking around. He doesn't drive fancy cars either, which I think also rubs off on me. I'm telling you this story because I found my mentors in different ways. 4:40 Focus on what specific industry, why do you want to have that mentor? What value are you adding to their life? The third thing is what is the outcome, what is the result, and what types of mindsets do you want to get? What qualities do you want to get from this mentor? Those are three important questions I want you to ask yourself going through all these different, and I also with different mentors too, I use those three as a way to give you reference. 6:00 Find out what it is that they need, and then add value to them in that way. Whether that's working for them for free, whether that's working for them to be able to do something, connecting them with someone, keep adding value, keep adding value to them. And over time, as you build that relationship because you want to think of it as if you were to have a relationship with a mentor for fifty years, how would you approach it versus if you had them as a mentor for a month? That's why it's so important for you to understand the decision-making thing, I'm going to give you three core questions that my mentor gave me, that is simple, it's clear, you don't have to overwhelm yourself because analysis by paralysis is one of the dangers of decision making. 4:30 So the three questions are, the first one, what is the upside? The first thing you want to always consider and we're good at this as human beings are what is the upside in our business. What are the advantages, what are the pros, what are the things that we're going to get if we make the decision actually to execute on that. 5:00 The second thing is what the downside is? What could you stand to lose, what could the alternatives be to that specific decision. What about the resources that you invest. You want to make sure that you cover your downside but you have to know what the downside is first. And the final one and the most important question of all can you live with the downside? 5:30 Doesn't matter if you're 20, or 30, or 40 or 50 at this age point in your life right now, I want you to look back and I want you actually to get a document and I want you to list out, what is the decisions that you've made in your life to get to where you are today? A, b, c, d. Any of the major or also the minor decisions that you make right now, and also in the past. I want you to analyze them, and I want you to understand, your decision-making mindset. 6:00 Even the small minor things like when to wake up when to eat breakfast, when to eat lunch, when to eat dinner, who should I meet today, who should I meet next week, why should I meet them?
