PRE-SCHOOL BALLET CLASS 5
In our final ballet class in this series we continue to build on the exercises and steps we have learnt in the previous classes as well as learn new steps.
In episode 5 class plan we learn and work on:
WARM UPS:
Stretching with a Little Dancers Life ballet rhyme.
Finger warm up, ideal for developing fine motor skills
Butterfly Leg warm up
Full body stretching adventure to become Flamingos (with the Wonderwall)
BALLET CLASS EXERCISES:
First position of the feet and arms in Bras Bas
Playtime - Turn into a dancer
Demi plies exercise
Guess the arm positions game
Tendus
Marching
Transfer of weight exercise

Little Dancers Life evolved into a video on demand channel during Covid after seven years face to face teaching pre-schoolers by classically trained professional dancer Amani Lindsell. The classes, designed by Amani are presented by her two daughters, Esha and Anais and produced by Amani and her husband Richard.
The classes focus on introducing correct ballet technique to preschoolers through imaginative games and roleplaying.
