He crafts immersive worlds with his lyrics like no other artist - I'm convinced that even if Willi couldn't play a single instrument, he'd still be churning out plays, novels, and screenplays instead of songs. Fortunately for us, he's a pretty darn good singer who can work wonders with just about anything you put in his hands.
On this particular field recording, Willi mentions it was inspired by “kind of a collection of a bunch of crazy stuff a bunch of good ‘ol boys have said to me over the times and some crazy stuff I added myself”
