SABC News The Financial Sector Conduct Authority has hosted its annual National Financial Literacy Speech Competition for schools, with 3 provinces announced as big winners. The speech competition targets Grade 11 learners from quintile 1-to-3 schools. These are non-fee-paying schools with learners majoring in business studies, economics and accounting subjects. The focus of the competition is to promote financial literacy amongst learners with this year's winners from Limpopo, Northern Cape and Free State walking away with R36 000 in prices and a bursary of R500 000.
