Inspired by a mix of Michaal Jackon melodic movements,, Paul Simon guitar, and Odezza beats, “Believe in You” is Shimmer Island’s unabashed foray into “conscious pop” with an uplifting and unforgettable hook and timely affirmation:
I believe in You. - I believe in me too. - I believe in Love.
The music video, akin to Pharell’s “Happy” with a healthy dose of Austin-weird, includes a 3rd video collaboration with Austin choreo-team BlipSwitch and follows the prompt:

BIO
Based in Austin, Texas, Shimmer Island came to life in 2020 as a solo project from Austin Music Video Festival co-founder Jeremy Roye, featuring longtime collaborators Shane Wood (synth, sax, bass) and composer Nathaniel Earl (arrangement, co-production).
Drawing from Jeremy’s musical and spiritual nomadic Austin to Iceland and Berlin to Bali,
Shimmer Island has re-emerged with a deeper intention of crafting dreamy, genre-bending folktronica and a live show featuring banging beats, empowering hooks, and meditative stories for healing and empowerment.
Shimmer Island has also joined Soundysync Music, been featured on Song of the Day (KUTX 98.9), is a recent recipient of the City of Austin’s The Live Music Fund Event, and recently performed a live Daniel Johnston-adaptation on Emmy-nominated We Are Austin (CBS) for World Mental Health Day.
