Michele Saxman Jesus Calling July 2 we are in encouraged to discipline our thoughts, to capture them and guide them from fear and into His Peace. On our journey toward self awareness and a strengthened relationship with our Creator and Savior, we have to catch ourselves on the ego's hamster wheel of fear. By God's great design, our thoughts control our chemical messaging system, and the breath can change it from fight/flight into rest/digest.
