We seriously laughed so hard I’m sore today😂
- I LOVED it! 3 things:
1. It definitely was not what I expected … but in a good way for sure!
2. Ryan Gosling (Ken) was freaking hilarious! So was Kate McKinnon (Weird Barbie), Will Ferrell & Michael Cera (Alan) - honestly, I loved every character! I need to search out the bloopers because Im sure they were all laughing their asses off the entire time!
3. My 9yo daughter really wanted to go see it… we have a rule about PG-13 movies - mom & dad have to watch it 1st & discuss if it would be okay. Honestly, I think a lot of it would go over her head. I think she thinks it would be like the Barbie shows/ movies she’s watched at home… but it’s definitely is not. There is a lot of (hilarious) innuendo & some blunt talk too. There is a really great message - which I want her to hear, but maybe in a couple of years when she’s matured a bit🤷♀️
