The Flash opened to mixed reviews from both critics and audiences and the opening weekend box office numbers reveal that. As The Flash only made 55 million dollars in it's opening weekend, making it a complete flop. Much of this is due to Ezra Miller and many fans not wanting to watch him, but a lot has to do with James Gunn and how he lied about The Flash movie and overhyped it. James Gunn also put out tweets last year attacking DC fans, which has also resulted in many fans not wanting to watch his DC movies.
